Are you positively giddy over the prospect of Scott Brown winning in the upcoming Massachusetts special election? Are you currently supporting Scott Brown through time, money or both? Do you believe that limited government policy over the past thirty years failed, leading us to ever growing government? Are you partial to the Tea Party movement? If you have answered yes to all these questions then allow me to prove to you that your support for Scott Brown is a contradiction to everything you believe in and will hurt this country more than any rubber stamp liberal.
Living in Massachusetts the excitement over a Republican taking the mysterious Kennedy seat has generated what appears to be a political frenzy last witnessed only during the Obama campaign. Many advocates of small government and individualism have thrown their support to Brown including prominent talk show hosts like Michael Graham and Jay Severin, multiple prominent conservative websites like HotAir, RedState and PatriotRoom who not only endorsed Brown but are pleading with people to send donations. Local tea party activists are phone banking and blasting mass messages to anyone willing to listen. Organizations like the Tea Party Express (a GOP front group) and OneNation PAC (limited government) have also formally endorsed the candidate. Facebook, twitter and social media sites are on fire with Brown fever.

Typical GOP response: hey, we don't care if he's a big government guy, just as long as he is OUR big government guy!
It's party over principle!

I am very encouraged to hear this as you can see my position is not very popular here. I have a nagging feeling that most of the folks did not read the full article, but I suppose I don’t blame them.
I respect everyone here and it pains me to know that we are living in a world where we simply have NO CHOICE. I tried building logical arguments to suggest that the lesser of two evils can sometimes be a greater evil.
It’s not working as of now...

See #28 - Brown looks pretty good - EXTREMELY good when we consider he's in Massachusetts. He's about as conservative as we can get and expect to win in MA.

It's party over principle! What I can't understand is why people such as yourself are completely unable to use common sense for even a millisecond.

If nothing else, a Brown victory will show how far the 'Rats are willing to go to keep him from taking his Senate seat. If the Dems pull anything, Brown should go to the Senate and force the Dems to have the Sergean-at-arms throw him out on C-SPAN.

Any Republican... ANY REPUBLICAN that takes kennedy’s “lion of the senate's” seat is a major victory for us and a major defeat for hussein, peloser and reid... and that trumps any reasoning that you put forth.

Scott Brown will also vote against the health care bill. After the compromise bill comes out of conference, it must be approved again by each house. Brown will vote against the bill. That means there will not be 60 votes in the SenateIs this true? There's no filibuster on reconciled bills, is there?

I wonder why these remarks appear in the Comments section following the article, if this guy is such a Big Gov't guy: "Arkady 61p · less than 1 minute ago He is more than just a RINO my friend, his entire message is that of fiscal conservatism. We in Mass. know about this guy and it pains me to see so much support for someone who can hurt us so much. " It's unusual for a fiscal conservative to be described as Big Gov't.

>>I sat out indeed, although I was mortified of Obama - still I think Obama gave us the tea party movement and we must be thankful of that.<<
Small, cold comfort.
By sitting out, you voted for the TOTUS-reading fuhrer. Ideological purity has consequences. In this case the consequences were worse for freedom than ever in history.

We stop the Obama agenda dead in the water if Brown gets in. You'd be nuts, or worse yet, Liberal , to vote for anything else. In fact if you want to help because you don't live in Massachusetts, volunteer for the
phone bank. (While you are calling keep track so we can get a poll to see how much the RATS have stolen afterwards). Speaking of theft if you live in Mass or find a committed Brown voter get them to become an election judge. In Boston
they pay 135-185$ and I bet heavy RAT districts have not had a republican monitor in years and routinely stuff the ballot box.
