Remember Lee Iacocca, the man who rescued Chrysler Corporation from its death throes? He's now 82 years old and has a new book, Where Have All The Leaders Gone? Lee Iacocca Says:
Am I the only guy in this country who's fed up with what's happening?
Where the hell is our outrage with this so called president? We should be screaming bloody murder! We've got a gang of tax cheating clueless leftiststrying to steer our ship of state right over a cliff, we've got corporate gangsters stealing us blind, and we can't even run a ridiculous cash-for-clunkers program without losing $26 billion of the taxpayers' money, much less build a hybrid car. But instead of getting mad, everyone sits around and nods their heads when the politicians say, "trust me the economy is getting better.."

and where are all the influential men like Iococca who DON’T have a book to sell?
Too many brain dead Americans that refuse to acknowledge true leadership skills.
Jedi mind control works only on the weak minded, and Darth Obama is a master of the Dark Side.
HOORAY Lee Iacocca! YOU need to get out more, Lee.
It looks like these “influential men” like Iacocca are not only late in arriving but are only getting there when the fat lady begins to sing.
Yeah, and Iacocca was one of the first to go begging congress for loans to bail out Chrysler. After that a long line of big businesses with their hands in our pockets. Dont’ get me wrong I am a free market person, but we haven’t been practicing that for a long time.
True. On the other hand, perhaps they can't get a forem unless they do write a book.
“It looks like these influential men like Iacocca are not only late in arriving but are only getting there when the fat lady begins to sing.”
I think they all were very scared of the Obama administration personal attacks until very recently.
Im glad he has the guts to speak out about the craziness of whats going on in this country...book or no book. Maybe we should send a copy to Michael Steele (and the GOP). I imagine Mr. Steele doesnt call it like this in his new book.
Iacocca was AWOL back when he was in his prime and there was a public clamor for him to enter the political arena to steer the ship of state into calmer waters. Now, he’s our new Monday Morning Quarterback. I’ll pass on this book.
You are probably correct.
I don't consider myself to be on the same side as Mr. Iacocca. I think his "solution" feels a lot like what I consider the "problem".
He got the loan, fixed Chrysler, then repaid the loan with interest.
The Government made money on the deal.
Don’t care. Gov’t should not have been involved.
That’s right. Free markets for free people. Using taxpayer money to prop up a business that politicians like is not a good idea. Ever.
Heard someone on with Cavuto yesterday. It was background until he began speaking the truth about security, etc.
Crandall speaking about the need for executive experience.
Well of course, no one in this administration ever rose above mob enforcer/community organizer.
Seems to me that Iaocca lived in Detroit for a number of years while at Chrysler... has he taken a little drive around the city lately? Wonder if he ever bothered to speak up, or as he suggests, lead to prevent the decay and corruption that has destroyed that American city. Somehow I doubt it...
The guy who got a government bailout for his failing company-he is talking about leadership?
He got a bailout, which put his competitors at a disadvantage.
The government shouldn't be in the 'business' of bailing out business, a business that had to be bailed out again recently.
