Leadership starts at the top, Mike. If you can’t lead, then step down, and appoint me in your place. I’ll show you how to get it done.

After saying this STEELE MUST RESIGN TODAY!

That POS is paid to be one of the GOP leaders and he states they are not ready! Bring in REAL Conservatives. They are ready to lead.

More reason to dump the whole lot of them. If a CEO is failing or a manager is failing or an employee is failing you normally get rid of them.

This guy is smarter than I thought. I, too, don’t believe we have the right people to run the House or Senate. That doesn’t mean I don’t want to have the majority. We haven’t demonstrated leadership in the past decade. We need someone like Newt Gingrich who doesn’t give a flip for bi-partisanship. Do those types exist today in the Republican party?

They gave over $1 million to DeeDee Scozzafava in NY. They back candidates with no loyalty or principles. Then they criticize their own party. Meanwhile, Steele has written a book he is promoting. I will never give these people any money.

I think what he’s indicating is that handpicked RINO approved candidates aren’t doing so well and that he’d rather loose than see a bunch of filthy conservatives take those seats.

He’s right.

The GOP doesn’t have a clue about the opponent that they face.

They never did.

This game is being played by two different rule sets, and it always has been.

The Commies are playing for keeps, and the Dunderheads are playing not to lose, which means they will lose.

He’s trying to come off sincere and perhaps he was sincere, but I heard him and he was unartful. He also mentioned the need to recruit candidates in many districts. I think you heard from him an honest warning that much work needs to be done.

In fact, when Hannity followed up on the point, Steele said he doesn't know if the GOP is ready to take back the reins of power.

"I don't know. And that's what I'm assessing and evaluating right now. Those candidates who are looking to run have to be anchored in these principles," he said, referring to 5 conservative ideals he lays out in his new tome. "If they don't [anchor themselves], then they'll get to Washington, and they'll start drinking that Potomac River water, and they'll get drunk with power and throw the steps out the window."

This is another way of saying the OP (Formerly the GOP) is trying to figure out how keep its big tent, reach out across the aisle, in the spirit of bipartisanship principles without appearing that way to Conservatives. The OP and the socialist RATs are two sides of the same coin. They are one big socialist Republicrat party.

The OP is spineless. The RATs are losing support. When are people going to wake up and realize clinging to the notion the OP has no intention of allowing Conservatism in their wing of the party and can take back the country only by uniting in a party with strong Conservative principles?
