Sarah Palin Gives Hope For Future Like The Great Jewish Heroine Esther
Governor Palin 4 President ^

Posted on 01/01/2010 3:41:07 PM PST by MaxCUA

I admire Sarah Palin. She gives me hope for the future, and reminds me of the great Jewish heroine Esther.

Humble, reverential and courageous. I hope she becomes the first female president of the United States. I have carefully observed the impressive onslaught of lies and hatred directed at her since she joined John McCain in his bid for the White House.

I will review just a few of her splendid accomplishments.

What I like most about Sarah Palin is her love for her husband and her children. I've long believed there is nothing nobler a person can do in this life than to do a good job raising their children; it appears that Todd and Sarah Palin have an excellent marriage and a great family.

That's no small success in this divorce-ravaged society.

My second favorite thing about Sarah Palin is her love for her country. I know that her political activism springs from a deep appreciation of our rich history and hope-filled future.etc..

I wondered why the security was so heavy at the booksigning I attended last month then!

Thanks for the pic. Pretty scary stuff. I read somewhere that for one of her recent events the police had sharpshooters stationed on rooftops.

I can only imagine the threat level against her and her family from the deranged element that's out there.

..if he is who I think he is, he has done some incredibly important work in the War On Terror--there would be no greater ally in this fight than Gov. Palin IMHO

There must be something cultural going on that I can't grasp...

I’m sure that death threats have been made against her and her family. And of course she needs security during public events as most people of her stature do. I just don’t buy into the “called by God” and “fulfill God’s wishes” stuff.

Are they Romney people? I didn’t know that.
I just noted that the three who posted “she’s a loser” or “she can’t win” were all from MA. I hadn’t made the Romney connection.

onyx, anyone who doesn't look upon Saint Sarah as our savior is automatically considered a Romneyite, RINO, troll, libtard, etc, by some people.

>>> "Death Panels were mentioned on talk radio extensively way before Palin talked about it and most conservatives knew about it before Palin even uttered the words." <<<<

Say, wagglebee or eternalvigilance....

I am trying to remember what term was used in past years to describe what Governor Palin so aptly called, "Death Panels."

I know that for decades medical ethicists have discussed this, and I also know that there were national cases before Terri Schiavo was murdered by starvation; however, although I've heard lots of interviews about the "Right-2-Die Euthanasia" legislation in Europe would ultimately lead to homocidal medical doctors eliminating "useless feeders" .... so help I can't remember what term was used.

Do either of you remember?

Do either of you know if the phrase "death panel" originates with Governor Palin, or did she simply make it popular?

Thank you.

I just took a terrible fall on a diving boat. Ended up 3 inches shorter and 40 lbs lighter.

I'm assuming a dive boat(scuba?). I'm a diver and have dove off many dive boats. What happened?

>>> "I am nobody but yet my opinion is 100% correct regarding Sarah Palin and time will prove me right. All your excuses defending her resignation are meaningless in the world of politics in addition that they are not true. She is simply the Obama of the right with a lot of rhetoric and no actions but rather weakness. America will not elect another inexperienced all talk person to become President and should not." <<<

Thank you for sharing your opinion publically. I disagree with your premise that her decision to resign as governor is fatal to her political future; I think that it was wise to resign, and I presume that IF she is planning a run for the presidency that she is being mentored by brilliant experts on a wide range of issues. She has been described by people who know her FIRSTHAND as having a photographic memory, so she's definitely a "quick study," and it won't take a four year post graduate degree to bring her "up to speed."

The people who disparage Governor Palin the most are the MSM, the far left radical fringe, and the hypereducated elite ivy league RINOs & DINOs.

I seriously don't think they count.

The MODERATES who voted for Obama will not vote Democrat next time, no matter who the Dem candidate is.

This huge moderate voting block has totally abandoned Obama and it mistrusts the MSM, as it realizes it was mislead by the MSM pundits who have obvious bias for BHO.

Had they discovered this BEFORE the election, they would have voted for McCain/Palin --- but I believe that MOST of them would actually have been casting their vote for Sarah Palin, and NOT for Ol' RINO John.

Frankly, the MSM and even the tabloids can nowadays say virtually ANYTHING whatsoever about Governor Palin, and it won't matter. Not at all.

The only people who will be impressed by any negative press are those who firmly despise her, I believe that they constitute a tiny insignificant portion of the population.

The worst that the MSM portrays, the MORE that the electorate will genuinely like her. That's my current take.

I do not consider her the 'Obama of the Right' --- BHO was a virtual nobody Senator from the Chicago Machine who has absolutely NO public accomplishments whatsoever, except for being selected as Editor of the Harvard Law Review.

He's a big Zer0.

Even Sarah Palin's stint as a small town mayor lends her more experience and validity than BHO, whom to this day there are no records released from ANY of his schools or doctors, he's a big Zer0 and there's no way he's going to win re-election.... unless they successfully hack the voting machines, or he calls martial law and that immediately suspends all elections....

Comparing Sarah Palin to BHO, when she is an open book, and he is a riddle of lies and ghost authors simply doesn't cut it.

For the life of me, I do not understand why so many of the MSM-types try to infer that Sarah couldn't have possibly written a book, or that other people compose her facebook blog entries.

I mean, she has her degree in JOURNALISM, she should be able to write, you know??

No, that isn’t true. All it was was a curious coinkidink that the three persons onyx cited were all MA people. Romney is the only thing I can think of that would elicit that kind of response to Palin. But I don’t think that EVERYONE who doesn’t support Palin is a Romney critter. Some are hucksters and others. Doesn’t really matter to me. I support Palin. That’s all.

Thanks, Lakeshark.

Sarah coined the term “Death Panels” and even one of our guys, Johnny Issackson (I think) took issue with it, before he realized she was right. For that matter, I can’t remember if he ever came around to see it Sarah’s way.

In your case, I'll accept that. :)

So you don't support anybody?

No one has announced yet to run for 2012 so when we have the announced candidates I can make my choice.

Palin vs Obama who are you going to choose?

Palin of course.

She may not have invented the term, but her post on "death panels" in facebook was the one that brought the term into the public eye. It was very powerful, and almost derailed Obamacare by itself. If nothing else, it began the rush of information that made Obycare so unpopular.

She has great political instincts.
