According to a news report out of Houston this morning, police there found an AT-4 shoulder-mounted rocket launcher like the one shown in the photo above, alleged to belong to a man by the name of Nabilaye I. Yansane, in a southwest Houston apartment complex. Though I have yet to see comments by members of the Obama Administration in response to the news about this weapon, I have some ideas about what they might say

They found a rocket launcher. If it still has the rocket in it, then I will be concerned. In the meantime, it is as deadly as a used brass, which it essentially is.

Yea I know :) was just being a smart-a$$
I did click the picture to see if it led to an uncropped version that showed the gun firing the brass, but it didn’t :(

Funny name for an Amish person. "According to court documents, officers also found Jihadist writings that allegedly belonged to Yansane."
When did the Amish jihad start?

The libs chatting on the Channel 2 news link (at the top of the article) claim that it was just a drug dealer’s toy. Many drug dealers into jihad lit?

When did the Amish jihad start?Right after Kelly McGillis' nude scene in Witness. That drove them straight over the edge.

Zer0: I lose packs of cigarettes all the time. One moment they are in my shirt pocket and the next they are on the ground somewhere. I guess the same goes for AT-4s. Nothing unusual here.

MANPADS are a bigger worry. The muzzies have been smuggling MANPADS in to the US via Mexico for over a decade. DHS has been training various LEO's on how to identify MANPAD components for years.
Basically, the MANPAD can be easily transported whether it is fully assembled or not. If it is not assembled it takes mere seconds to put one together. From there it's a simple procedure to point it at an airliner's jet thrust, get lock tone and pull the trigger. By the time it hits it's target the shooter can be long gone. The kill zone is about a 40 mile radius around any major airport.
Odds are one day we will wake up to commercial airliners falling out of the sky all over the country.
Happy flying......

See "whistlingpastthegraveyard" comment below and/or the update I just posted on my blog after reading it:
Remember the news story about the Continental Airlines pilot who, in June, reported a missile had flown past his aircraft while it was in the airspace above Liberty County, Texas. Perhaps this rocket launcher is the one used in that incident. Either way, troubling questions remain: How did the rocket launcher end up in Houston and who is responsible?

Not to worry!!!!!

Odds are one day we will wake up to commercial airliners falling out of the sky all over the country. I don't doubt this for a second. But I do wonder why they're still wasting their time smuggling PETN onto planes when MANPADS are more fool-proof.
Then again, there are so many things they can do at any given moment. There's always a purpose behind their timing. They're probably just saving the MANPADS for a Bojinka-style follow-up to 9/11... or blackmailing our government with the threat of such.

The system worked...Ding, ding, we have a winner.
I predict that phrase will become the sarcastic description of Zero's first year in office and possibly his first and last term in office.
I can see the political commercials now, "The system worked ..., did it really?" or "Did the Democrats' 'system' work for you?"
