The recent game of musical chairs played at the Climate Change Conference earlier this month confirmed what many Americans have begun to expect: Obama is becoming pathetic.

To his embarrassment, when he walked into a meeting with the leaders of Brazil, South Africa, India and China (BASIC), to which he had not been invited, all the chairs were filled.

They still have a high regard for America, but, as regards Obama, his loss of face is devastating.

BTW, the sociological concept of "face" or the "loss of it" ("shi mianzi" 失面子) is a Chinese concept, and one of the most powerful concepts in Chinese culture (some say it is the key to the Chinese spirit).

Another grand example of that famous Obama sensitivity to protocol.

Watching the video of Obama, this guy is on drugs. Watch his eyes.
The Northwest bomber planned his attack for Christmas. Obama never mentions that, yet his speech includes the violence in Iran taking place on Moslem holy days.
