From the top of virtually every flag staff in our country flies the emblem of The United States of America. Our national flag is a moving symbol of what we believe the country has stood for since our victory against the British. It has flown as the rallying cry for men and women in combat. It has been seen by some as the single sacred goal for refugees in hostile lands who were literally crawling for the protection of its embassy or a U.S. Marine detachment protecting the soil on which it flies. And for still others, it has flown border to border and coast to coast as our “guardian angel” spreading its majestic colors for the world to see and know that America stood for something greater than self, a visual picture to all who see it from a distance, that the might and glory of her history was truly something to cherish and die for if necessary.
I believe with all that is within me that we still have an unassailable claim to the unbendable and unshakable rule of law found in the Articles of Confederation and to a lesser degree the Constitution itself, for which “old glory” perpetually stands in silent honor. Before that flag flew for the first time, the Declaration of Independence was written by imperfect, flawed men who sought a Republic in which to chart their own and others—destinies. We may argue vociferously about whether or not our founding generation was Christians, atheists, deists, or cultists. It matters only in that we may VERY soon have the opportunity to do it right again—or perhaps for the first time.

Well, yeah, since what our tyrannical government is doing to us right now is orders of magnitude worse than anything the British Crown did to the former colonies.

We’re still in that “leading up to the war” phase. Although I think its like the War On Terror pre-9/11. The government is at war with us, but our heads are too deeply stuck in the sand to notice. They will refrain from committing the real atrocities as long as we continue to allow the Death By 1000 Cuts.
I’ve read that only about 30% of the population supported the revolution. Another 30% supported the Brits.
The Rats are going to neutralize our vote against them in 2010 by legalizing every Illegal. We can forget going through them. We have to operate at the State level.
If no success with the States because we have a central government that wants to control everything... Then that is when we are going to either do something or leave.
I’ve read that too. It makes sense. After all, the King was the legal ruler of the colonies and everyone kept saying that “we’ll vote em out in 2010” while new abuses were heaped upon them every day.

It appears some by their commentary don’t quite understand the depth, the breadth, the enormity of the moves against we the people that are being accomplished by, or advanced by the Left.
If within just these few posted commentaries at this time since this thread was initiated such a conclusion can be formed, then I wonder the extent of understanding overall by the American populace.
It is disturbing.
The fix is in. Add these illegals to the weak voters that have been bought and the brain dead Americans, not much of a change of getting control over the Senate or House. King Obama reordered the tax payers funding of ACORN and some Unions got their bailouts, we are cooked.
