He said that he ran as an Independent Conservative. Apparently that falls under the Dem category. In my state, anyone who runs on the Conservative ticket also appears on the Republican ticket.
Further proof of a need for a “real” second party.

He sounds genuine to me.

I don’t know this man, I wish him well and all defections might turn out to be a good thing.
However, I can’t help but think of this as comparable to a hooker in a white wedding gown...... pretending to be a virgin, all over again.
