Conservative Democrat Ben Nelson is reported as the "holdout" for passing "real" health care reform is is lucky number "60" for passage of this socialist bill. Nelson says "The true meaning of Christmas is that you don't destroy babies!" In reality, ALL legislators who vote for this are equally responsible, and ALL will be held accountable. NOW is the time to contact his office and tell him that his political future hangs in the balance of his vote on this 2000 page monstrosity. Yes, God is sending them a message through this storm and this is a warning to them before He begins to play rough and nasty.

NE Newspapers should go after Nelson, oh wait, they probably approve (may their circulation decrease).

I’ve got a great deal on a bridge for anyone who actually thinks there was EVER a question of Nelson voting with the other Marxists.

Dog and pony show. Nothing but.

The guy was obviously for sale and we didn’t make a high enough bid. How dumb was that?

We won’t be able to do a damn thing about it. Congress will insulate themselves from the rest of the country, and have their community activists take care of the polls.

Just called. His box is full and they hang up on you. I also found an address in NE and sent him an email. I’m in AZ and I heard they don’t bother with out of district email. They barely care about their own constituents. Correction - they DON’T care about their constituents.

I can’t tell you how mad, sad, scared, disgusted....I am. It’s only 8:30 am and I think I need a drink!

No, because even if Republicans get enough votes to take back the House and the Senate (highly unlikely in the Senate, because only about 1/3 are up for re-election anyway), they will not have the 2/3 votes in both houses required to overcome Obama’s veto.

I’ve been hoping a VW Beetle sized meteor will strike the proper venue while a joint secession is happening in DC. Doesn’t look like it will happen in time, now. The globalist have won and conquered America without a shoot fired.

Only if the voters manage to turn out the whole lot of those who vote for it, and then do the same thing for the next one-third of Senators who come up for election in 2012.

America is being taught a lesson, that elections have consequences. Sadly even those who don't need the lesson have to take the class along with those who really do.

If we don't find the will to tighten up the election process in our great country to stop the outright theft of elections it won't matter who runs or doesn't run. Starting with the most obvious of steps, like making voter picture ID mandatory. Then get rid of motor voter registration and make the voter have to actually DO something to gain the privilege to cast a ballot. IMHO, only those who actually pay taxes should be voting, but I will settle for making sure those who register are qualified, and those who vote are registered. Anything else is asking for fraud and more results like those that gave us Frankin.

I say pass this damn bill now, they are wasting time on the inevitable.

This massive mess will fail and the house cleaning will begin, let them show who they are.

CBO fantasy price tag due out shortly. Let’s see who’s on board afterward.

Is Webb a sure thing? Like Nelson, he’s not up for reelection until 2012 either.

Agree. This POS democrap was just holding out for his version of a Landrieu style payoff. He’s a scumbag like the rest of them. They have no idea what damage their doing to this great country.
