Republicans like to point to Ronald Reagan for inspiration. However, we have to resign ourselves to the fact that Ronald Reagan is dead. Worse, his legacy was killed off by his own party, the same Republicans who say he inspired them.
The only lasting legacy to George W. Bush was the nomination of two constructionist judges and a fading response to terrorism. For eight years, we saw GW insist more on getting along than being right. Even the war in Iraq was fought on the cheap, probably out of fear of the cost of waging war, which defies the logic of waging war. In the long run, his own dithering on Iraq cost many lives before finally settling on the Surge.

LOL
agreed with all in yer post rabs...
I simply dont think we will see a return to principles until we have a complete breakdown at this stage of the 'game'...
to many that think the conveniences of their modern day lives and status positions will insulate them from the chaos...
they used to be reliable allies...in my mind today, they are as bad [prolly worse] than the commies they enable, cause the commies are simply 'one shot, one kill' whereas a rino drains energy from within exponentially...
thats why we must stand on principle and trust that the Lord will take care of the big stuff...
my two pennies...
Just show me where he tried to bring in carbon dioxide cap and trade and I’ll be the first to agree with you there.
You ain't seen nothin' yet! LOL
I agree. And if this doesn't work, we will all be fighting for our lives -- men, women, children, and other living things.
Like I said to Gilbo_3...I think I broke something on that last rant I wrote...I’ve been staggering around all day, bumping into walls...The last thing I remember, there was quick flash of light, something sizzled and popped in my head, and I smelled something burning...like fried onions....or bacon...or something...just ain’t been right since...:^)
Nothing that “Jack-Jack and a Beer Washback” won’t cure...or maybe a day at the range for some ordnance expenditure...
As a guy, I hate saying this but women, as mothers and grandmothers, are more accutely sensitive to danger and societal decay than men, who are breadwinners.
Many women can sense that we are in a survival mode, which is why I believe that so many of them are asserting their leadership in the struggle.
Take a day off.
Many women can sense that we are in a survival mode, which is why I believe that so many of them are asserting their leadership in the struggle.
Again, I agree completely. I attribute about half of American men's current condition to spectator sports, and about half to political correctness run amok.
Fortunately, more than a third of the entire population, more than 100 million, are listening to their most basic instincts screaming at them to stock up on implements of war and vital necessities.
In the meantime, we continue to pray for devine intervention, military intervention, or any other kind of intervention that will curtail this communist takeover and save the USA.
It was only later when the Democrats had made enough mistakes that enough voters turned to the Republicans to win.
People aren't voting for a philosophy so much as somebody who's going to clean up the mess.
That may be unpleasant and depressing, but wait a little bit and it will work in to conservatives' advantage.
Not as much as you might like it to, but enough to make a difference in Washington and the country.
You know, that’s NOT a bad idea, now that you mention it...
I’m feeling a sudden attack of “Lower Zimbawean Gnu Flu”...ONLY strikes on late Thursday evenings, and generally lasts well into Friday....and can ONLY be cured by the smell of cordite...
Wow...it just came on like THAT (snaps fingers)...
Settles it. I’m HOME tomorrow. Maybe off to the range for the CURE...
Remember on that last ‘civil war’ post I pinged you with :
We are crazy on this endless thread but you cant resist us. We need a pool bet on how many pings this thread will go, OPPS, Too easy to rig LOL. Maybe another RINO/Tea Party/Third Party thread could supersede this one. at #720 posted on Wednesday, December 09, 2009
I couldnt join in the fun this time, my boss was tormenting me.
I have always had difficulty with the term RINOs. Sometimes it seemed (under Bush) like MOST republicans were what we considered RINOs, and probably still are now.
since yer still a lil wobbly, Ill advise range first, then jackx2coldbeer...lolol...just to be safe...
just doesnt roll off the tongue well though...
LPACs
Liberals Posing as Conservatives (around primary elections)
or Cnots [pronounced 'snots']...
Similar to something I said a few days ago. This author must be a clever sort! ;)
I think rants can be helpful Artemis Webb if it leads to conservatives/Republicans not making the same mistake again. Since some people still don't get it, it bares repeating as many times as it takes. Obama is looking like a one term loser. If we replace him with some big government RINO like the last GOP President we'd still be driving off a cliff, just slower.
“Im feeling a sudden attack of Lower Zimbawean Gnu Flu..”
Only known cure is the RANGE. Enjoy!
When human behavior reaches a point so low that being hated by fellow conservatives is the goal, it's time to reevaluate what's motivating that bad behavior.
Being a bottom dweller is not exactly something your friends should be proud of. Or did I miss their point here?
Or did you?
