Here is video of a local news report out of Washington about suspected police killer Maurice Clemmons. The report includes a brief phone interview with an Arkansas prosecutor - Larry Jegley - who said former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee "granted clemency to a disturbing number of people," including a person named Maurice Clemmons "who should not have been let out." This report says Clemmons was serving a 95-year sentence in Arkansas when released. Other reports have said it was a 60-year sentence.

The report says Gov. Huckabee has issued a statement which denounces the shootings, and places the blame on the criminal justice system. . . . (VIDEO)

Wrong mindedness in an effort to prove to people he occupies lofty ground is downright dangerous.

Well-stated.

flimflam [ˈflɪmËŒflæm] Informal n 1. a. nonsense; foolishness b. (as modifier) flimflam arguments 2. a deception; swindle vb -flams, -flamming, -flammed (tr) to deceive; trick; swindle; cheat [probably of Scandinavian origin; compare Old Norse flÄ«m mockery, Norwegian flire to giggle] I stand behind my characterization of Huckabee as a “flim flam preacher man”. You are correct however that most who suborn their reason to emotion/compassion usually vote Democrat - like to raise taxes, allow full benefits to illegal aliens, etc - just like Huckabee.

This "compassionate conservatism" bullcrap sometimes has deadly consequences.

Don't quit your TV show, Guv. You have about as much chance of getting elected president as my dog does.

This puts an end to the Huckster’s political career. Thank God.

Got that right.

He said it isn’t likely he will seek the nomination, but I don’t trust him. He’s shameless, and is a rino pawn. The election is two years away and I look for him to have a “change of heart”.

Why does he even have a show on Fox?

I see it as not entertaining or newsworthy at all.

If it was in black and white I would swear it was an old 50’s TV variety show re-run

Mitt Witt Romney

They are dropping like flies.

Indeed they are, and Jim Robinson and FR is doing to Romney what we did to Rudy Tooty before the primary season of '08 even got underway.

...it is starting to look like a Palin vs. Pawlenty race for 2012.

Pawlenty challenging Palin is like a cockroach challenging a can of RAID, lol

But don't forget South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint, if he gets into the race, it WILL get lively. He's a good man.

Fox needs a house cleaning. It can dump a long list.

Huckabee is a preacherman and thinks the best of most folks, that’s why preachers shouldn’t be in elected office. Here his liberal attitude to criminals has seen more innocents die. Imagine what mischief he could have done as president? He should be booted off Fox and put on TBS where he can preach all he likes. Huckabee was finished in my book a long time ago.

I thought I read somewhere (AOL News?) that Huckabee pardoned the guy "due to his youth"......and then the yute violated parole terms, went back to jail for "X" number of years and then someone else released him to the streets.

I'm not a Huckabee supporter (I was a FredHead, now a Palinstinian) but I'd like to know if the above scenario and time-line is correct. The Huckster may not be totally at fault here.
