Here's a Mauser model 1934 I just purchased. It's the nicest one I've ever seen, and I couldn't resist.

    Very nice.
I think I have Mauser envy.

    A fellow P99 owner.
I love mine, it's my primary (read: only) home defense weapon, except when I'm traveling within the state by vehicle, in which it transforms into my primary (read: only) self-defense weapon.

.32 ACP. The model 1934 is virtually identical to the model 1914 except for the grip; the model 1934 has a more curved back. Most of these were used by the Wehrmacht and the German Navy. They were also sold commercially.
This one is commercial issue. If it was Navy marked in this condition it would have cost about 4 times as much!

Says 7.65 on the side. Must be a .32.

Wow! It looks brand new...sweet deal you go there

Where did you get it from? Gunbroker.com. I recently got my C&R FFL, and I love being able to have guns (Curios and Relics, anyway) shipped directly to my home. No dealer fees, and no Brady background check!

Who is your supplier? There's an outfit called Armsblue that sells guns on Gunbroker.com. They deal almost exclusively in older firearms. This is the third handgun I've purchased from them, and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Sorta went through a background check already if you have your C&R. And you’re on the hook for BATFE inspections in your home. Just something to think about.

I’ve got two copies of the application for my C&R at home, but, just haven’t been able to fill it out yet since I’m on a budget (and the wife let’s me have a budget, lol).
That’s a pretty C&R piece. How long have you had your C&R license?

To: GL of Sector 2814
Oh, and don’t mind my asking do you, but how much?

Not true, you can opt to have your “field audit” at a BATFE office in your district. There is “supposed” to be a bit more strictness in the book checks for 03 FFL holders.

Sorta went through a background check already if you have your C&R. And youre on the hook for BATFE inspections in your home. Just something to think about. Yup, I'm "pre-approved". As for inspections, I've read about them on other forums; my understanding is that a BATFE agent requests an inspection, and when they come out they examine your records (I'm required to keep a bound book listing my C&R purchases and disposals). I haven't read of any "nightmare" scenarios...in every instance the agent was polite and businesslike.
