Now that's funny!
At least we know who to talk to on the contents of the files dropped.

Ok, I can’t tell if the original poster was going for humor, but for those who don’t understand IT jobs there really is a very common job title known as “Data Manipulation”. It’s been around forever and a person who works with databases, software or other large data sets in a programming situation gets this title.
But it is certainly extremely funny in this context.

Ian Harris, Data Manipulator... Wrote this Page Turner:
Low frequency temperature variations from a northern tree-ring density network
Studying tree rings. Nice work if you can get it.
Yes, an Oak tree may have 40 rings, and is thus 40 years old, but there haven't been any sunspots in the last few years, and it's kinda cold, isn't it...

Low frequency temperature variations from a northern tree-ring density network How does one separate out the effects of varying rainfall from those of varying temperature?
Silly me — one doesn't. You just assume that all changes which support global warming are caused solely by temperature changes. Any changes which contradict the global warming scenario can then be attributed to rainfall variations.
