It seems the recent news that Rudy may use his pending Senate run for another shot at the GOP nomination has brought the Rudophiles back to FR in packs.
In order to head-off the liberal treachery, I think we need to renew the "Stop Rudy" ping list. Does anyone know who had it, and can we start it back up again? I will run it or help run it if needed, thanks!
If there are still tootiefruityrudybots around then maybe we’ll have another bugzapper thread.
Hmmm.
Good to see you back to researching. :)
(I ordered three FRed mugs and a hat today. My Daddy has been bugging me to get him some FRed stuff for ages. He’s having a good Christmas. :)
NO!!
I don’t have time to sit glued to my monitor for four or five days!! Last time my family almost had to have an intervention. :)
Ya know ol' obama has taught me a few things and one of them is.....much as I'd love a candidate that represents 100% of my views, I'll take a smaller % as long as s/he is strong on national defense and loves our country.
I feel it's more imperative to concentrate my energies on how to counter this American impostor in charge of our country than on someone who isn't afraid to call a terrorist a terrorist. Please remove me from your hate rudy ping list. There are more important battles to be won than this.
Um... it’s on your profile page...
You are absolutely correct. We should search threads strictly to find fault with fellow FReepers, and only post when FReepers need a smack down. That'll teach 'em good, and promote the community.
How about we tee up some REAL CONSERVATIVES instead of liberals in GOP clothing (sometimes, dresses) like Rooty?
Let's work on conservatives retaking control of the GOP a la 1977-1980 and deal a death blow to the Marxist presence in the current government--IMHO Rudy is the last thing to be worried about at present...
It’s not about finding fault or smacking people down—it’s about debating what the GOP is/should be. The competition of ideas expressed via discussion is a necessary process if the GOP is going to survive.
And that does more to build a strong community than a whole string of “me-toos” on an Obama thread.
:)) This was just recycled research from last year—I had to refresh my own memory so I thought I’d post it. :)
I love it—FRed stuff for Christmas! I want a mug that says “if you can’t be Reagan, be Goldwater.” :) It’s great to “see” you, PM! I hope all is well with you and your lovely family.
Does anyone know how I can get in touch with Madame Dufarge?
Obama didn’t win because the left compromised. Obama was the most leftist major candidate in the race. The lesson I see is that you win by energizing the base.
Obama won because the candidate was an excellent communicator and his campaign heavily recruited first-time voters, and drove them to the voting booth.
ROTFL! Are we all logged in? I'm series...
That doesn’t conflict with what I posted. Obama was the most leftist major candidate in the race. Those first-time voters were primarily energized leftists (e.g., college students), *not* squishy-middle types.
;o)
LOL! ;-D
“Rudy is a big time law and order person.”
HIS law and HIS order, not the US Constitution.
Yep, Julie-Annie campaigned here for Ron Saxton who lost miserably against the flaming leftist Turd Colonoscopy...
