Obama Says He Did Not Bow to Japanese Emperor, Shoe Teleprompter Was Malfunctioning

As controversy spread of the “bow” heard round the world, President Obama sheepishly admitted in a Chinese press conference that his apparent subservient bow to Emperor Akihito was actually just an attempt for him to get a closer look at his malfunctioning shoe teleprompter.

“I’m tired of hearing all of the speculation about the bow,” said Obama. “So I’m just going to come clean and admit the truth. And the truth is that my staff provided me with a high tech teleprompter that is integrated into the top of my shoe and allows me to subtly glance down for my lines. It is much easier than hiring a staff to carry my teleprompters all over the world. Unfortunately, the damn thing malfunctioned and decreased the font size of the text to the point where I couldn’t read it. I was frozen, unsure what I was supposed to say next, who I was talking to, or even what country I was in. So I quickly bent over while shaking hands with this gentleman in order to read what I was supposed to say. I had no idea it would cause such an incident, but the technical glitch has been fixed, and I can read the shoe teleprompter just fine now.”

The Dems know for a long time now that they can say ANYTHING , I mean ANYTHING and people will believe it. Even if people see something with their own eyes Dems can simply say “ you didn’t see that , you’re wrong”and people will say ok .you’re right.

No no no. The real reason? In addition to fighting lung cancer and fainting spells, our President is also suffering from bad back syndrome. It goes out on him whenever he has to greet a man much shorter than himself (witness the earlier incident with the Saudi shrimp king). I.E., when he starts to bend over slightly in order to grasp a shorter man's hand his back gives way and forces him down into what might (to an untrained eye) appear to be an undignified groveling position. Luckily the episodes are short-lived but there are often lingering effects, as evidenced by the dozen or so bobbings of the upper body right after the collapse. These are equivalent to the aftershocks of an earthquake and can (to lesser minds) be mistaken for yet more groveling.

I mean, come on, obviously Obama is too intelligent, too sophisticated, too good at ironing his pants to keep blundering like this (making a fool of himself and the nation people who voted for him) as some would have us believe.
