I don't know if Army chief of staff Gen. George Casey is a liberal, but he sure talks like one:

Everyone seems to be so concerned about this massacre causing Americans—always on the verge of rampant intolerance and bigotry—to want to abdicate “diversity” or lead a backlash against Muslim soldiers. (Speaking of diversity, is anyone going to address that this Muslim fundamentalist refused to associate with women? Or does that clash too much with the liberal template that it’s only us Americans who are intolerant?)
This backward thinking will never solve the problem and will only result in more lost lives.
This massacre happened because the American people, the U.S. military, and the FBI—which willfully dropped the ball on this Hasan guy—were too tolerant. Only in this country does a radical fanatic carry out an act of terror (or whatever you want to call it) and then we are guilted into looking within ourselves and at our past actions to figure out why it happened. It’s like we learned nothing from 9/11.

So he thinks that dead soldiers are preferable to offending heathen muslims. I am happy he just got right to the point, as it illustrates who is on our side and who is not. The guys who are the Generals now and who are in charge came up with being indoctrinated with the "politically correct" ideology. They are selected for General, based upon their social graces, toeing the party line and cocktail party demeanor, NOT their leadership qualities. Casey is not about the make waves, or do anything about the muslim underground in the Army, particularly since there is one in The White House.
Bill Clinton was highly successful in wussyfying our armed forces. George Bush just continued his path. I have nothing but contempt for so many generals and other high ranking officers that infect our military.
Having served myself, as with many others here, I wholeheartedly agree.
What has me is the political correctness that has embedded itself in our armed forces, moreso since this lame arse Barry administration has taken office. Disgusting and disgraceful and will arguably lead to more unnecessary deaths of our service men and women, if not worse, another 9/11-type/like terrorist attack.

And, if I may point out, for those who find the prospect of “purging” Hasan from our military ranks before this semi-foreseeable event (as posted by D. Limbaugh in his third paragraph) distasteful...what would that “purging” consist of...?
Furnishing him with a medical education at government cost...then flying him to Yemen or Riyadh...first class, no doubt...?

So, General, how many innocent American lives is ‘Diversity’ worth? 50? 100? 1,000? 10,000? Or is the alter of your PC Diversity more important than our very extistance?
First it was tolerance. Then we had to begin to ‘Celebrate’ this new found Divesity; yet we continue to ignore what we have lost. We have lost our cultural identity, what it means to be an American - because we have renounced our culture to embrace ‘nothingness’.
Our education continues to plummet so that where we were #1 in the world, we are now approaching the levels of 3rd world countries - and sinking faster each year. But, we continue to worship diversity instead of going back to the time proven methods that lead to our global success.
We cannot say ‘Merry Christmas’ lest we worry that such a greeting may offend someone. Yet, if a man were to offer a ‘Blessed Hannukah’ or ‘Joyous Ramadan’ only the most thin-skinned bigot would take offense.
We have a generation who do not know the most elementry basics of our Goverment, our founding fathers or what it means to be an American. Our children know nothing about why were were involved in the wars we have fought, how many died, nor even what we were fighting to achieve. They do not know that America was the architect of the goverments of Japan and Germany today; as well as the basic outline of which most Demorcatic countries today use as the rule.
And, part of the reason for this decline, is that our leaders have accepted the religion of ‘Diversity’ without questioning both the ‘pros’ and the ‘cons’ of such a practice. In my opinion, this lack of investigation is an indiator that they are unworthy of the titles they hold.
America is falling, we no longer know who, why or what we are. We do not know where we are going; because our leaders have allowed Diversity has cut our cultural threads to our past, and we are plummeting into the future, led by Marxists, Communists and those who are seeking to destroy us.
