Once this is passed they will go a step further. Every aspect of our lives will be controlled.

They will determine how much we get paid.
They will determine what we must buy.
They will control the production of most of our major industries.

The people voted for change. And they are getting it -- good and hard.

Step by step they are usurping the constitution, taking power that will be nearly impossible to rein in. Most Americans are asleep at the switch though. True nightmares will be preferable to the reality they will find when they finally wake-up.

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say goodbye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling in terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand. The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst; the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!”

There's more.

Sell private health insurance and go to jail.

Buy private health insurance and go to jail.

Yes - nothing like the inept, irresponsible, impotent, pathetic Congress telling you to buy something or else you can pay a fine and/or go to jail.

Thanks, Jay Inslee! We will campaign against you next year.

Pesosi, Reed, and the rest of the vermin have their own free 5 star health insurance, immune to the expensive crap coverage they seek to mandate you and your loved ones.

Somebody help me understand:

The so-called 'Constitutional right to privacy' says I can decide what I do with 'my own body.'

But

The 'right to privacy' doesn't give me the right to refuse health care?

Huh?!?

These Democrats are a bunch of power-crazed fascists. Especially Queen Nancy and Queen Bawney.

How is this any different from your taxes? Try not paying your taxes as “political dissent” and see what happens.

There’s a 1,000 things I don’t want my tax dollars going to yet I still must pay taxes or I’ll be sent to jail.

They’ll get around this by calling it a tax and not a fine.

But overall, yes, we’re screwed as a country if this goes through.

But we’ve been screwed for a good long time now.

The very first LEO who would apprehend a dissenting citizen should be met with armed resistance.

If we allow one person lose property or freedom because of this unconstitutional bill, we deserve to lose our liberty.

I heard a great quote yesterday from one of our Founding Fathers, I think it was Jefferson, but I could be wrong:
When the people fear the government, it is called tyranny. When the government fears the people, it is called liberty.

We need to scare the Hades out of elected representatives.

I’m thinking if this doesn’t result in an armed revolution, then I’m going to jail. Screw the government.

There is always a silver lining.
If they plan ahead and build enough jail space, may they won't have to release serial killers that kill a dozen more before they get caught by mistake.

Wait..
Never mind.
