GOP leaders have been loathe to criticize Rush Limbaugh -- but House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.) is taking issue with Limbaugh's claim that President Obama's push for health care was comparable to Hitler's stranglehold on Germany.
Cantor, the highest-ranking Jewish Republican elected official in the country, told Bloomberg News that his party needs to be more inclusive to regain power.
The Republican Party in its roots is a party of inclusion and we ought to be promoting that and making sure that voices are heard, Cantor, of Virginia, said in an interview on Bloomberg Televisions Political Capital with Al Hunt, airing today.
Cantor praised Limbaugh as a voice of the conservative movement. But Cantor objected when asked about Limbaughs comments that Adolf Hitler like Barack Obama, also ruled by dictate" -- and about Rush's comparison of the Obama administrations health-care logo to a swastika.
Do I condone the mention of Hitler in any discussion about politics? Cantor said. No, I dont, because obviously that is something that conjures up images that frankly are not, I think, very helpful.
A Cantor spokesman also said that signs at Thursday's Hill Tea Party showing murdered Jews at Dachau were "inappropriate."

All true. Hopefully, with the Tea Party movement behind them these people (or their replacements), will get over
doing this. They will see it only pisses off their base as
you point out very well.

read their info which he/she wrote about themselves and that will explain everything about how a young kid is right up their own arse and hates everyone.

Not so much a jellyfish as too intellectual to be a politician.
He is a conservative who votes and acts converative.
He also thinks aloud, which creates stupid statments like this.

IN THE NEXT 5 TO 10 MINUTES: Cantor will be called a RINO shortly by the ever perfect conservatives of FR. Sigh.
Oh, I see. When a Republican says or does something stupid, we're just supposed to shrug our shoulders and say, "Meh."
Fie on that. Cantor sucks for saying this. He's showing that he's part of the problem. And he needs to be criticized, as does any political hack who wastes precious syllables attacking the very people who put him in office.

What's next? Hannity a RINO now too?
Where have you been, genius? Hannity had his lips sewn to Rudy Giuliani's posterior for the entirety of 2008. They needed a pair of forceps and a crowbar to get him off.
Yawn Vanity is Captain RINO.

No, actually, I don't. And neither do you. You only spin it that way to make this solid loss look like something other than what it is.
OK. I don't know that for sure, I suppose, in the same way that I don't know for sure who would win in a Minnesota-Detroit match-up, but how could you possibly guess wrong? Let's look at the facts: Scuzzy holds all left-wing ideological positions with the exception of gun rights, and that's before Hoffman came along (in fact, that is why Hoffman came along), and when she drops from the race, she endorses the Democrat. What other evidence do you need? In this life, if we only acted upon absolute certainties, we would never get anything done!

Na, Rush was not choosing a provocative term...and he did not lose his patience.
Nancy Pelosi, a Democrat Speaker of the House, 3rd in line for the Presidency, called her fellow Americans Nazis, for going to a town hall meeting and demanding their reps stop the passage of a law to steal our private healthcare.
Rush was teaching his audience what Hitler and Nazism were all about domestically. What Hitler’s political party stood for, and what their domestic policies consisted of.
And those domestic policies were more in line with the Democrat/Socialist Party of the left.
And not those on the Right who were attending the town halls.

wrong, sir. NY-23 was a significant battle against liberal Republicans. The conservatives put principle above party and refused to follow the RNC and support a terrible left-wing candidate. There was nothing good coming from Dede in congress. The second best option won that election, and a stand was made for principled conservatism.
Just as in VA and NJ and other lower profile elections around the country, conservatism was found to be a widely popular stance in the face of the threat of massive central government control on our lives.
