In this shooting, as well as the one at the recruiting center in Arkansas, as well as the failed attack on Fort Dix, the perps had one thing in common... they were all Muslim terrorists. All of them.
Why is it that politicians of all political persuasions constantly hold up islam as the "Religion of Peace?" Why? Anyone who reads the koran KNOWS full well that it specifically instructions followers to kill all infidels, and it justifies lying to people in order to advance the cause of islam. Only someone who is naive or evil would claim to think otherwise.
The base commander (Cone) made sure something got out....”Hasan was saying Allah Akbar as he fired off the rounds.”
And an exact description of Obama. This mindset, the mindset of the person who occupies the Presidency, is directly responsible for these killings. It's directly responsible for fomenting and encouraging violence against our military.
I was driving over to the galley for lunch with NPR on via AFN and the host completed her report with no motive is known as yet. I about drove off the road! How stupid do they think we are?
He was a psychiatrist, a medical professional, did he think they were going to send him on combat patrols?
Well, let's see....we are hearing that Hassan had "high hopes" for Obama, but had soured recently. The attack was a statement, perhaps a political one-in general an anti-American military statement, more specifically an anti Iraq and Afghanistan war statement. Sounds like the far-left base of the Democratic Party to me. Could the elections Tuesday have soured him further?
Hassan could not possibly have had distaste for being deployed out of fear for his personal safety, he had to believe that when he walked in with handguns blazing yesterday he would not survive. No, Hassan didn't want to be deployed because he perceived America as his enemy, and didn't want to fight Muslims.
Could we possibly have a better example of the fact that PC run amok is mortally dangerous, than this egregious mass murder yesterday?
My son who was a combat medic was with the Big Red One for most of his Army career and spent a lot of time at Fort Hood. So many men and women have passed through that place coming and going to Iraq and Afghanistan. So many men and women, some who have made the ultimate sacrifice, all of which have made their country proud. Then we get this piece of....
I sure hope this man does not represent the best in care that wounded soldiers are receiving.
This guy is a coward, a misfit, a useless little man. He took the education the military offered him, he took the oath, then he didn't want to fulfill his obligations.
I can imagine Nancy with tears in her eyes over this. (sarcasm)
"Major Hasan was not speaking to investigators, and much about his background and his motives were unknown."
"Military records indicated that Major Hasan was single, had been born in Virginia, had never served abroad and listed no religious preference on his personnel records."
The words "Muslim" or "Islam" never appear once in the main news article. An accompanying "profile" piece does however, chronicle his Islamic roots (in the context that he was angry at being harassed for being a Muslim).
The weapons used are (laughably) described as "automatic" pistols, and the authors also offer this: "The type of weapons used was unclear, and it was not known whether the gunman had reloaded, although it seemed likely, given that 43 people were shot, perhaps more than once."
Huh? The Times' writers appear to know even less about firearms than they do about the symptoms of Sudden Jihad Syndrome.
I seem to recall that it was muslims in the medical field who were involved it terrorism in the U.K. Is this coincidence, or something else?
