My first husband (deceased) took guff in the Army for his somewhat indeterminate skin color (American Indian heritage). The Latinos thought he was trying to hide his latino heritage, etc. He ended up with the nickname “Red Man’ and wore it with pride. This is a boy's club, the military. Its not harassment its member measurement.

My son who was a combat medic was with the Big Red One for most of his Army career and spent a lot of time at Fort Hood. So many men and women have passed through that place coming and going to Iraq and Afghanistan. So many men and women, some who have made the ultimate sacrifice, all of which have made their country proud. Then we get this piece of....

I sure hope this man does not represent the best in care that wounded soldiers are receiving.

This guy is a coward, a misfit, a useless little man. He took the education the military offered him, he took the oath, then he didn't want to fulfill his obligations.

Oh! he will get the best care available, and then will go be fore a military tribunal and given the death penalty, which I hope will be carried out on the spot at the rifle range.
