The Obama Kool Aid may be wearing off, while Barack Obama Campaigned as a post partisan "moderate" for the first time since his election, Gallup is reporting that most Americans view the POTUS as governing from the left-wing. The number of American's who feel he has kept his promises fell 17 percentage points since April to 48%
54% of Americans believe his policies have been mostly liberal while 34% call them mostly moderate. There were also 7% of the public that need to get back on their meds, because they feel that Barack Obama's policies have been mostly conservative. This contrasts with public expectations right after Obama's election a year ago, when as many expected him to be moderate as to be liberal.

There were also 7% of the public that need to get back on their meds, because they feel that Barack Obama's policies have been mostly conservative. There need to be some qualifiers to gauge just what positions the public thinks are liberal, moderate, and conservative.
He told the public that he opposed same sex marriage and funding abortion. He lies. We knew this going in. But some didn't get the memo when he told a different audience something else.

This cracks me up... it just proves how easily the masses are brainwashed into believing what they are told by some talking head on the TV.

Obama lied during the campaign to portray a false image of being a moderate. We are seeing consequences now that voters, especially the independents who went for The One, are finding out they were lied to.

Those on the right who tried to present evidence of his true politics were warned against “going negative” and “smearing” his candidacy.
The media did NOT vet Obama’s campaign and continues to shill for his administration. It should have been considered an “in kind” campaign contribution by the FEC.

Who ARE those 34%? IMHO, 75% of the time a "moderate" is just a liberal who won't admit it.

McCain ran an awful campaign - ranks right in their with Bob Dole.
That said, going negative on Obama probably couldn't have been pulled off even by Rove because his media protectors would have pounded the Republicans with racism charges.
The signs were all there, Barry's association with Wright, Ayers, ACORN, UCC, his Senate voting record (when he showed up), you name it. The press just wouldn't look at it.

every single person that I know voted for Obama (that are family and I feel comfortable saying it to) I say, “you allowed yourself to be snookered by a charlatan.” No one likes it, but it is the truth and I really do not care to keep those facts to myself that one he is a charlatan and snookered many, but two that people allowed it to happen to themselves. The facts about this guy were out there. They chose to listen to his dribble and con and they chose to listen the the outright deception by the MSM. In truth I lost a lot of respect for a lot of people. A lot of naive, lost, followers out there.

Following that we have had months of being called racist just for challenging his ideas and goals, all types of labeling and name-calling by the so-called DNC leadership. Yet the MSM is, as you say continuing to shill forhis administration.

Obama is A Liberal Who Doesn't Keep His Promises So here is an obvious question. Who would you like more - a liberal who doesn't keep his promises or a liberal who does? :-)

McCain was like the Scozzafazzo pick. We should have screamed and hollered and put up a huge fight then. We would have lost, but hey, it worked out in the end. Obama and the Dems have been exposed for what they are and we got Sarah. McCain can go to hell and take his daughter with him.

people allowed it to happen to themselvesYes, they did. His promise to let the Bush tax cuts expire by itself put the lie to his claim he won't raise taxes on people making more than $250,000, but people wouldn't look at what was right in front of their faces.

I know there are some out there who will admit to being liberal but the liberals I’ve met all claim to be moderate.
