Lots of people are throwing around some terms that they do not understand.
Speaker Pelosi recently implied that Tea Party protesters were “Nazis”. Someone should explain to her that the millions who gathered in Washington, DC were protesting the greatly stepped-up intrusion of government into their lives and the huge debt the Democrats are placing on the backs of their children. This is exactly the opposite of Nazism. Given the actions of the goons from SEIU, ACORN and the Black Panthers in Philadelphia, if anyone deserves the title of Nazis, it is the liberal Democrats she represents.

I’d gladly pay a dime for the difference. They goose-step slightly different.
Communism and Fascism are the same thing. They are simply different brands of totalitarianism. Like the difference between a Ford and a Toyota, it’s purely a rhetorical difference, one of image. Communism is the Eastern European brand of totalitarianism. Fascism is the Western European brand. Socialism, on the other hand, is sort of like a counterfeit $20 bill. It pretends to be what it isn’t. It pretends to represent freedom because it embraces an election process, but in fact it is little different from totalitarianism itself in every other respect.
In fascism (at least in the Italian/Spanish model), the corporation controls the government.
In socialism, the government controls the corporation. Communism is simply socialism at gunpoint.
Either way, you end up in a totalitarian nightmare. The problem is evident: centralized power is bad, regardless of what shape it takes.
They think if they collapse the economy that they will have perpetual power, that we will become a one-party autocracy.

Socialism is worker ownership of the means of production. Even in democratic variants, this usually translates into government ownership of the means of production.
Fascism is like socialism except with a hurry-up offense. Think the 3rd way, or philosophical pragmatism. Here corporate and government power are combined, with the state controlling but not owning the means of production.
Communism is simply the property-less state of Hopenchange bliss we’re all going to progress to, provided the workers sacrifice a little more, toil a little bit more, wait a little bit more — Utopia is right around the corner! Only small scale societies have actually been truly communal, and their standard of living was awful.

Corporate doesn’t always mean business.
It’s simply a question of who is pulling which strings. Like I said, any centralized power is bad. It leads to nothing but corruption, misuse of power, and loss of liberty.
Good description. Hitler called himself a socialist but was a fascist. I don’t understand wht fascists are considered “far right” They are very left wing.

I believe this depends. I know, Americans tend to attack anything that is big and instinctively side with the little guy. Large companies however can bring down costs because of economies of scale in ways that smaller companies cannot. Even a monopoly isn’t necessarily malicious when there are no government barriers to market entry.
Different facades are meaningless. They used the same words and ideas and phrases. Different forms and names of the same thing.

Agreed. But large companies (even those that dominate a market) don't really have "power", at least not in the sense that the word applies to governments. A corporation can't force me to do anything without my consent. They can only use carrots, whereas governments can (and almost always do) rely on the stick.
