The last thing I want to hear during a Rush, Hannity, or Levine break is Charlie Gibson's Obama panegyrics. Even worse is Ann Compton. She is zero's real Press Secretary. She puts out more pro-Obama spin in 5 minutes than Levine can debunk in an hour. Is there any way to get them off?
I listen on Rush 24/7. During breaks he runs his parody commercials, etc.
Ann Compton is absolutely the worst.
Perhaps it’s been good for my heart health to scream in frustration every hour, on the hour.
I simply turn the station or turn the radio off. I would rather listen to nothing than ABC news.
Last week she led with-”There is a smile across the face of the Obama administration. Russia and Chin have agreed to back the president with sanctions against Iran”
yeah right.
who needs ipecac?
Well, you sent me scurrying in search of a dictionary.
Fess up, you have been waiting for the exact moment to use "panegyrics," right?
:)
You are not alone. WMAL does the same thing. It is always a shock to be thrust back into ABC’s mainstream mindset.
I agree. I have been shutting them off when they come on during Rush’s and Levin’s shows. They are so biased, it is unlistenable.
Yes! The Obama media has resurrected that word from deep inside my aging grey matter.
Yes it is definitely puke time when ABC radio news comes on. I find myself quite often giving my radio the one fingered salute with the likes of Ann Compton and her ilk reporting.
Do not discount the heinousness of Sherry Preston. I think she commented on the “thousands” that showed up in DC for 9/12.
Today, President Obama...
“President Obama says”...”The Obama Administration today says”...
When I hear the chimes of the TOTH news coming on, I recite the opening with them.
YES!!!!!!
That is how Compton speaks. I wonder if she says that as she gets out of bed?
Yeah, with latex and whips.
I record the show and listen to it later. That way I can fast forward through the breaks.
WBAP drives me crazy.. I swear I have heard them do stories about how government hiring hasn’t been affected by the economy and people should apply for them.
Off the subject, but I get irritated at those local “breaking news” bulletins which turn out to be unimportant or news that “broke” hours ago. Close runnerup: Severe weather predictions that are for some town miles away from where you are.
These days I’m getting more and more of my news and weather from websites so I don’t have to be bothered by these “breaking news” and “severe weather” hysterics.
You can buy a 24-7 subscription and listen online without the ads/news.
