OKLAHOMA CITY -- Although not available online, blogs, including AmericaWantsToKnow.com, report that the grocery store tabloid The Globe has revealed that 25 celebrities and well-known personalities, including Oklahoma's very own country music superstar Toby Keith, are on a so-called "enemies list," allegedly compiled by President Barack Obama.
While some may scoff at such a report, since it was featured in The Globe, this particular tabloid has broken some big stories, like the John Edwards affair.
The "insider" talking to The Globe says that Obama is concerned about being "branded a wimp" and has sought help from former President Bill Clinton to help go after his enemies. The insider said: "Obama is going to do whatever he can to discredit these people. He wants them silenced."
Reports the California-based blog: The 25 names on the "Roster of Revenge," in case you're wondering, are: Glenn Beck, Larry Sinclair, Joe Wilson, Sarah Palin, Sean Hannity, Orly Taitz, Pat Boone, Jon Voight, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Rupert Murdoch, Jesse Jackson, Dick Cheney, Bill O'Reilly, Toby Keith, Rex Rammell, Hank Williams Jr., Steven Anderson, Saul Anuzis, Bill Cunningham, Paul Krugman, John Rich, Wiley Drake, Alex Jones and Michelle Malkin.
What's interesting about Toby Keith's placement on the "enemies list" is that Keith has said some complimentary things about Obama, particularly following Obama's trip to Afghanistan. Here is what Toby Keith said in August 2008: "So I thought it was beautiful the other day when Obama went to Afghanistan and got educated about Afghanistan and Iraq. He came back and said some really nice things. So far as leadership and patriotism goes, I think it's really important that those things have to take place. And I think he's the best Democratic candidate we've had since Bill Clinton. And that's coming from a Democrat."
Ironically, as we noted, Obama allegedly met with Clinton this month and Toby Keith praises both Democrats publicly. Seems strange.
More recently, however, we reported here at Red Dirt Report that Toby Keith's new hit song and video, "American Ride," features Obama in a cartoonish way, being featured as a tool of Wall Street. Is this what changed his mind and got Toby Keith placed on the enemies list, there with Glenn Beck, Michelle Malkin, Alex Jones and even Pat Boone? It should also be noted that the new Toby Keith video also features George W. Bush as a tool of the religious right as well. It will be interesting to see if there is any further fallout from this enormous revelation.

Didn’t Rupert Murdoch support him after initially endorsing Hillary?
I’m disappointed I didn’t make the list. :-(
How can I get my name added to the list?
This is not one of them.
I saw the other day Toby and Trace Adkins were wishing they were there when Kanye took the mic away from Taylor Swift.
I call BS on this.
Considering that it wasn’t the Globe that broke the John Edwards babydaddy story, but the National Enquirer? This article doesn’t pass the smell test.

Me too.
Zero is too lazy to make a list.
Toby must be VERY happy about this, lucky guy.
I thought Toby was a Democrat?
You did ... I did ... there are about 57 million of us on the list.
Add me to the list.
Say it ain't so?
Paul Krugman??? Why would a commie economist be on Obama's hit list???
Larry Sinclair is well known???
Jesse Jackson, that is funny. Although Jesse has thrown some pretty big insults towards Obama.
Paul Krugman???
Can I sign up for this list? Please, please, please add me.
I’m not discrediting you, but I am calling BS on the source, because of the claims made.
Jesse Jackson?
Paul Krugman?
Those two are fairly sympathetic of Obama’s agenda.
