If it were just Obama, I’d sleep fine, it’s Congress that keeps me up at night. I see them in a catch 22. Even if they don’t like what he’s doing, even if they think he’s tearing the country apart, they don’t see themselves as having a choice. They sure can’t partner up with Republicans and they’re not made of the kind of stuff to go it alone. The worst part is they’d rather destroy America than give up their office or perks.
That’s our “balance of power”. That’s what keeps me up at night.
Trust me. I am one of those conservative assholes that has been warning people I talk to about politics of the danger of the communists and their proxy Democrat Party for almost forty years. Many of us gave warning and some attempted to use the courts to arrest the sedition. But the courts were already co-opted by the left and also as we discovered, the congress. And smug self righteous people would not listen. And the menace grew. It took over the schools, then the inner cities, our large urban areas and now many states. Indeed the marxists have taken over the country. From your words I take it that you did not heed the warnings. From your words it seems that rather than help those that have tried to warn America you ridiculed and made sport of us. So afraid to be thought of as anything but cool. Thereby helping the enemies of life take over the U.S. and soon perhaps the world. And now that you see them for what they are, you are afraid. You should be.
