I hate to come across as a "square" but it is nearly impossible to go anywhere in the United States of America today and not sense the oppressive sexual culture in which we live. It is a subliminal, hypnotic barrage of immoral images, lewd language and erotic enticements that consciously and subconsciously affects our entire nation. It has gone so far that we have become a base and morally callous people. Where can anyone go today without being continuously bombarded by the 24/ 7 decadent drumbeat of this licentious orchestra? We have indeed become a Red Light District nation!
This hypnotic drum beat comes from all different sources of media: TV, radio, the internet, billboards, advertising, the music industry, the fashion world, Hollywood, the sports world, newspapers, magazines, tabloids, classrooms, college campuses, government,
.and on and on. Every facet of life has been affected. Every nook and cranny of American culture has been permeated and contaminated with this sickening vice. Teaching and preaching the moral values and virtues that are vital to preserve a healthy society brings only hate and slander from the vast secular faction here in the United States.

I don’t think you’re square at all. I came of age in the 60’s on the Mexican border, worked in a variety of construction jobs, served as an enlisted man in the USN in southeast asia and am no stranger to coarse behavior. Now as a 58 yr. old I find it embarassing to watch tv in the same room as my mother. Frankly, I think the overexposure you mention is taking the mystery and excitement away from sex.
It’s not as bad as Europe, where they have real red light districts.
But yeah, the culture is pervading a lot of things....
I would love kids, but I’d also lament the society and the culture of sexuality that starts way too young here.
Of course, I’m in flyover country and it’s not AS BAD here.
I know this will make you uncomfortable, but this is one of the main reasons why fundamentalist Muslims hate America.
Yeah, but their prophet bonked a girl. AT LEAST that’s still illegal here.
Yes, it is horrible, and can you imagine trying to raise children and help them stay pure in this environment?
We need a revival, Great Awakening, reformation. I think the moral rot in our country is what is at the base of someone like Obama and the radical leftists in DC being elected. Yes, there are all kinds of evil and corrupt organizations which have worked hard for 40-50 years to achieve their goals, but I think people like the heads of unions, George Soros, etc have existed always, they just never made headway before.
In other countries the marxists have taken over by force, at gunpoint. Here, they have taken over by the conservatives (Protestant, Catholic & Jewish), being to lazy, busy, etc to stay involved in politics, schools, etc. I include myself in this. It takes so much self discipline in every individual to maintain external liberty. It also takes having the overwhelming majority be moral enough to just say no to handouts, freebies, Social Security, etc. The minute we started taking things that really belong to others (via income taxes and then handouts) we were on the downward slope.
I dunno. At the symphony concert, on the golf course, out sailing on the lake, at the bridge table, things are pretty much as they have always been.
The Muslims can’t stand it when they can’t control female sexuality.
That is their viewpoint.
Their thinking has NOTHING to do with purity, chastity or godliness.
The Marketing of products has descended to the sewers..highway billboards also are a source of sexually suggestive inuendo. While not being prudes we don’t want the pornification of society assaulting our senses where ever we go. This is part of why America is in decline as well.
It’s one of the few items where I can see their point. The burka thing, however, not so much - that’s the whole other end of the spectrum.
Cheers!
