Here is video on the story that a Bank of America in Gaffney, South Carolina refused to allow a row of U.S. Flags to be placed in the yard of the bank to honor U.S. Marine Christopher Fowlkes, killed in Afghanistan.
The video features Megyn Kelly talking with a neighbor of the fallen Marine who placed the flags in the ground in his honor. She said she noticed after placing the flags that they disappeared. They had been pulled up by the manager who told the neighbor that it was against policy to allow the flags. She also reportedly told the woman that the flags "might be offensive" to some of their customers.
Bank of America has apologized for what they call a "misunderstanding."
NOTE: Megyn Kelly mistakenly refers to the U.S. Flag as the "Stars and Bars," which of course is what the Confederate Flag was called. . . . (VIDEO)

WOW....Glad I got away from those guys when I did. Good riddance to those jerks.
Bank of America is an illegal alien bank and real piece of garbage bank. Avoid.
Going to pull my account there - checking and VISA card.
Reason #3894 on the list of “Why Waterboarding Is Good”!
yup same here I’m glad they closed my account XD
Did she ask the bank for their permission before placing the flags ON THEIR PROPERTY?
The fact that you are backing a good cause doesn’t give you the right to trample over someone else’s property rights.
Too many people think that because they are engaged in what they believe to be a good cause, they have the right to ignore the law (that’s the justification Dems use for illiegal immigration, the take over of health care, and giving government money to banks, ACORN, etc...)
BoA is a POS.
The flags were in the right of way. The public owns that property.
How else does one explain the alarming and dangerous policy by this powerful financial institution? Ive heard some on the far left argue that this policy is nothing more then helping immigrants access a tiny bit of the American Dream. Of course they left out the key ingredient in this equation, and that is that Bank of Americas new credit card policy is purposely marketing and targeting its promotions to illegals people breaking the law.
Imagine a banking institution, that I assume is regulated by the federal banking industry knowingly encouraging, breaking the law of the land. Giving out credit cards to undocumented and dare I say again, illegals. No Social Security number, no drivers license, no passport nothing, zip, zero. Of course Bank of America has been extremely vague, as to how one identifies a customer. Do they need to show US residency?
And if so isnt Bank of America aiding and abiding in a criminal act, by the very nature of their actions? And what of criminal acts that have been or may be committed by illegals using funds provided by Bank of America to perhaps fund illegal activities or worse yet acts of terrorism? Does Bank of America bare any liability? ..."

Bank of Arrogance is bleeding customers and closing branches.
Having been in banking for almost forty years, I can tell you from experience that most branch managers are promoted far above their level of competence. (This seems to be especially true of the women, due primarily to pressure to promote women and minorities without giving them proper training and/or ignoring their qualifications for the job.) They are not trained to think independently or to use good judgement, just to follow the policy manual blindly. They know as long as they go by the book they probably won’t be fired.
So if someone posted Iranian flags on the right of way in front of your business, you would just grin and bear it, because they’re in the “right of way”?
What about pro-abortion signs, or upside down flags, or Obama flags, or any of 100 other things?
What if someone posted any of those in the “right of way” in front of your house? No problem, I’m sure.
As I recall from years ago when my parents had a small business, the local ordinance gave the business some say in what could and could not be posted in the “right of way” area in front of the business.
The business was also responsible for maintaining the right of way area (just as I am with the right of way on the edge of my front yard.) If you ordered someone to leave the property, they had to go all the way to the sidewalk, not to just to the inside the right of way (which started way before the sidewalk.)
The point was it isn’t a 100% public area. The government/public has some rights in the area, and the property owner has some rights in the area. That may be different in other parts of the country, I don’t know.
B of A must be racist. The C.I.C. of the military is some black guy.
The flags were in the right of way. The public owns that property.
Actually, they don’t. “Right of way” and “ownership” are differnt. If someone has a right of way on part of your property, you retain ownership, but they have rights to perform certain actions on party of that property.
How many times are you going to repost this thread?
In depends on the state and how the ROW was aquired. Most states and cities own the ROW. In some areas is is only a use easement, but it varies.
Never mind the site-nannies. Thatks for “reposting.” Otherwise I would have missed it.
That is not true. Unless you know the local laws and permit regulations, they can put the flags there period.
If the permit was given, they have every right to put the flags there. Notice the sidewalk.
