This is going to make your whole day. A guy's girlfriend's reactions via email to his trip to Europe. Unbelievable.

I know many young women like that among my daughter's classmates at university. Whether this all really happened or not is unclear, but I absolutely believe that this sort of hysteria takes place continually in their lives. Have you never read Textsfromlastnight.com? It will open your eyes.
Would it have hurt the bloke to check in at least once during his 2 week vacation?
That's what my wife always says, at least I think that's what she always says.
1. For some people, a trip to Europe is not a major event and doesn't require much in the way of advanced planning. You have a passport, you get a low airfare, you pack your bag and go. What's the big deal?
2. He states in the video that he did discuss it with her. Told her repeatedly that he was going.
You know why I believe this? My own college-age daughter has been down in the past ten days because a young man she had been seeing (just in the early stages of courtship) had not called her or texted her recently. Turns out he was in the Rockies, hiking with friends in remote areas where there is little or no cell service. Somehow she didn't get that information before he left. She's not of the nature to send hysterical emails or get angry, but she did wonder if she had done something wrong. This just shows that there could be miscommunication in the complex and sometimes confused lives of young people.
Precisely.
LOL. Are you Em’s sister? He said he told her he was going to Europe several times before he left and called her the night before he left. Go back and read/listen to the video again.
I’m not saying people like this don’t exist. I’m saying I don’t buy this story. If you look at a subsequent post downthread from my first, you’ll see why.
No, I’ve never been to Textsfromlastnight.com. At 66, I think I’ll pass...
Can you give a redacted version of her reaction, I can’t get past the firewall.
Given the link name I think this one is less likely to be legitimate...But it's still funny/sad/pathetic.
No, not the sister- I am on dial up and some videos don’t load right for me. I was commenting on her language and figured he didn’t tell her where he was going as it seems now many women/girls think they have a relationship with someone when that person doesn’t see it the same way. Sorry I just assumed he didn’t tell her.
No sweat. I didn’t mean to come across as intense as I probably did.
I was just making noise about a funny topic.
Thanks for your kind reply.
Why do you consider him trash?
&&&
Foul language. People who use such disgusting language are low class.
Charming.
I hope you never have occasion to visit a military base. Many of the people who protect your freedom indulge in such language.

I have no problem with men using that kind of language around one another, but women who talk that way or men who use profanity in the presence of women are trashy.
MEN shouldn’t use it either. Period.
What’s with the double-standard?
(Coming from a woman who cusses too much and needs to stop - but at least I know it.)
And Women Say Men Don’t Listen
What????
