But I think Breitbart’s overarching target is even bigger than that: the national media as a whole. Just as the media was caught flatfooted by the ACORN scandal, so too will they be rocked back on their heels by the next bombshell.

I agree with you. Pelosi looked terrified when Joe Wilson yelled “You lie”. She just doesn’t seem to be herself. Something big has got her spooked.

A site that has dug deeper into the NEA propaganda story had an interesting comment from a reader; here is what he/she wrote:
“I am part of the arts community. I recently went to the NEA website doing some research, clicked through the Grant links sure enough the Am. Recovery and Reinvestment Act was the primary source for grant funding. Clicking further through these links, it eventually takes one to recovery.gov.
In addition, Art Centers are sponsoring shows with work accepting only work featuring Obama or Michelle or shows with themes of Change. The environmentally based shows have been around for some time, but you can’t really open up an art magazine these days without some Obama related art piece featured.
Its gross that artists who are supposed to be thought leaders have become so sheeple. There are the masters Rembrandt, Goya and Caravaggio that used their art to expose the travesty of government and corruption and then there was the guy who did the Stalin mural and Fairey what’s his name.”

The NEA could be sponsoring kiddie porn with tax dollars and it would be a minor story with the media.
