The Constitution of the United States was created by the people of the United States composing the respective states, who alone had the right. - James Madison
Today marks the 222nd anniversary of the formation and signing of our Constitution. The United States Constitution is one of the greatest founding documents in history because it charted a bold new path in the realm of political theory. Not only does the Constitution establish checks and balances within the federal government, it also divides power among the federal government, the states, and the people. The Founders understood that it is the nature of government to grow at the expense of the peoples liberty; and with that in mind, they established a form of government that would be limited in scope and power in order to maximize power to the people.
Today, lets also take the opportunity to thank our armed forces. The weight of defending our liberty rests on their shoulders, and because of their efforts and sacrifice, we can celebrate the 222nd anniversary of the formation of our Constitution.

I've probably been one of Sarah Palins more vocal supporters but I have to say, doubts are starting to surface regarding her methods. Funny that I've never seen you on any of the other Palin threads...

Let's see, there are over 300,000 members on FR......numerous other websites regarding Gov Palin, including Twitter (while she was the sitting Gov) and you say you've never seen me on any threads? Really, you should familiarize yourself with someone by reading their posts before implying that just because ‘you’ haven't seen them, that what they claim should be discounted.

Really, you should familiarize yourself with someone by reading their posts before implying that just because you haven't seen them, that what they claim should be discounted. Considering that I post on about 95% of the Palin threads, going back to August 29, 2009, I know precisely who all the regulars are (as well as the Romneyites and other troublemakers), and you're not one of them.

And btw........Ive NEVER seen you Now THAT's just too damned funny...!

I see you are legend in your own mind and I might add, after reading a few of your posts, no one is above your righteousness.

We’ll see in the long run, won’t we?

I love that woman. If I was 30 years younger and Todd wasn’t in the picture I would do my best to court this woman. However, none of that is possible so I will just vote for her if she runs for office.

They should have listened to George Mason and Patrick Henry, but give em an A for effort. Hmm. Perhaps the former. Who should have had much more input in the preparation and writing of that document was at the time serving as ambassador in France.

Regarding our founders -
I can name only two modern day people in politics who would have held equal footing with and would have been amicable to Mssrs. Jefferson, Madison, and Jay.
Ronald Reagan and Sarah Palin
Adams would have appreciated the two but I doubt Hamilton would have done anything but turn his nose up at their inclinations to what the American ideal should entail.

Outlaw Woman has posted numerous times and appears as she stated: pro-Palin.
I've actually come to like reading her posts. She can be rowdy but she is certainly not ambiguous!
To O.W. - Patience. It is still very early in the game. A lot can happen from now until 2012.

I think it’s too bad she didn’t make an appearance in Washington last Saturday.

OW, I haven’t seen your name before either and I doubt you have noticed mine. I read most all SP threads.
I am a financial supporter of SP. She definitely helped in the Obamacare debate. She is busy writing a book and preparing for a major speech. She is a private citizen and it is not campaign season. She has been thru political hell and does deserve and need some P&Q.
To: Piers-the-Ploughman; Virginia Ridgerunner
So what is your point exactly? Why do you feel it necessary to even weigh in? Like I said there's over 300K probably more, members here......it's ludicrous to dispute someone's claim or comment because ‘you’ haven't ‘seen’ them. I too have supported Ms. Palin financially......just because I don't say that doesn't make me not support her. Just because I don't ‘jump’ on every thread on here and comment doesn't mean I'm not reading them and that there are not alternative sites besides FR. What do you and ridgerunner want......gold stars for your support of her? You think you have more of a right because your mouths are bigger and you have to comment on everything regarding Sarah Palin? I was only inquiring about strategy when VR jumped in with his/her smartass remark. Just leave it alone for God's sake. I think the majority of Freepers are firmly behind her. I know what she's been through too ..... and am not insensitive to that. I followed everything she did up to the day she officially left office; the terrific bills she signed to fortify and solidify AK’s position including state sovereignty etc. So who cares if ‘you’ didn't/haven't seen me. I don't care if you've read “most of all SP threads”.....do you think yourself on Ms Palin because of that? Get a life
