Today marks the 222nd anniversary of the formation and signing of our Constitution. The United States Constitution is one of the greatest founding documents in history because it charted a bold new path in the realm of political theory. Not only does the Constitution establish checks and balances within the federal government, it also divides power among the federal government, the states, and the people. The Founders understood that it is the nature of government to grow at the expense of the people’s liberty; and with that in mind, they established a form of government that would be limited in scope and power in order to maximize power to the people.
Today, let’s also take the opportunity to thank our armed forces. The weight of defending our liberty rests on their shoulders, and because of their efforts and sacrifice, we can celebrate the 222nd anniversary of the formation of our Constitution.

It’s sad to see this day not celebrated in place of Labor (Union) Day. This would have been a perfect day to have the huge rally in Washington, DC.

SO happy to hear from Sarah. I had missed reading her facebook postings. Isn’t it amazing how Sarah supports our constitution while the President spits on it
Debated with myself whether to "correct" the 45th POTUS; I am not worthy. LOL
It also throws the whole idea into the crapper with three tragic phrases---"interstate commerce", "general welfare", and "necessary and proper." But, hey, they tried. They should have listened to George Mason and Patrick Henry, but give em an A for effort.

Watch out, her ol’ man looks pretty tough.
We have to remember, she signed a book contract, and got half the money up front. She’s under a deadline to produce the book. I’m sure she would much rather be traveling around the country, attending various political and charity events, and I suspect we will see a lot more of her very shortly. She’ll be in Hong Kong next week, and that may signal the start of her travels, not only around the country, but foreign travel as well. Keep the faith, and hang in there.
