Some might say Reagan wasn't very presidential in handling the guy at this campaign event in 1980, but then again he wasn't the president . . . until the next day.

Shoot them into between the shoulder blades?
Oh wait that was the other story LOL
I sure do miss him!
God, how I miss him.
AH SHUT UP
standing ovation
...and RACE had nothing to do with it...
Best.
President.
Ever.
Yep. Once in a lifetime.
Good God, I miss that man - especially now.
Not a day goes by when I’m not thankful to have been born an American....and to have shared time on this earth with Ronald Reagan...

I'm praying that we will get lucky enough twice in my lifetime to have a great president who can lead and who loves our country.
I will never forget on the same day there was some newscast I was watching as a yungin’ and one protest sign has always stuck with me: “Why not an actor? We’ve had a clown for the last four years.”
The years Ronald Reagan was President - from Jan. 1981 - Jan. 1988 was the best time of my adult life ( 28 to 25 ) for a variety of reasons . It’s been alll downhill for America since he left the White House . A short 20 years later and look what we have in the WH - a Marxist usurper !
Oops - 89 !
I worked on Ronald Reagan’s campaigns and miss him so much it hurts in my bones. I look forward to the day when America once again has a President who loves and is worthy of her.
God, how I love and miss that man.
Listen to his speech to students on c-span. He speaks about Freedom and the Founding Fathers.
I was born during the last year of the first term of FDR and here I am watching the unfolding disaster that is Obama, and hearing Goober Carter, the only clown to be president during my lifetime, call us all racists.
Those things just make RWR all the more remarkable.
TY for that, I have bookmarked it for later! I wanted to turn 18 so I could vote for him, and heck, drinking at 18 was legal back then. I wanted to vote, more than I wanted that first legal drink. And, George HW Bush is on the hospital screen, winning the election, as I delivered my daughter. I was determined not to go into labor before I could vote. I have my patriotic, conservative mom to thank for it.
