I am looking for a list of conservatives colleges in Texas, specially states universities around the San Antonio area, any recommendations?

My daughter will be ready for college in about 3 yrs, and I am doing my research and planning to start visiting them.

I also would like to know what colleges are the ones we should avoid at all costs.

I think Baylor is pretty conservative. It was on a list of the ten most conservative schools. I don’t know where it’s located though.

There are none, however, the good news is that there are a lot of conservative students in Texas.

Best advice is do what I did, hold your nose, attend the classes you have to and get out.

A little advice though, if she is three years out start taking her core classes in high school. She can take English 1301& 1302, US Gov and Texas Gov, History 1301 & 1302, 2 semesters of science, and several other core classes and get both high school credit and college credit at the same time. Then at the most she'll only have 2 years left. Texas is most likely going to fund 2 years of higher education in the next couple of years, if she gets the first 2 in high school and the next 2 free then all you have to pay for is her post graduate degree.

Or Christian, either.

Otherwise, it's a fine school. I have an MBA from there.

What about TCU in Fort Worth? The C is supposed to stand for Christian but who knows today.

NOOOOOO!!! The "C" stands for carnal. You won't find a more liberal, leftist university in the N. Texas area. The latest fiasco was a "gay" dormitory. It fell through for this year, but expect it in the future.

Oh, you mean A&M in Bryan-Closet Station (Aggies shall be along shortly to beat me up - LoL).

If the young'uns do go there, they must stay clear of Bryan - it's ghetto gang-banger land. Even staying clear of that place is still no guarantee of peace - denizens of that population drift on over into CS since that's where the money is. Basically naive kids away from home for the first time make for great victims. Cars being burgled to downright stolen are at the top of the crime list. One kid I know lost his fairly new pickup and everything in it - it hasn't been seen since (Ido a México?).

My Cousin came out of the Baylor Nursing program and she was indoctrinated to believe that the medical class was their to interpret the most subtle of signals and take peoples kids away. Cause the medical field is the only contact with officialdom that some kids will ever get!

No State schools are anything close to conservative. All State schools are liberal. The Nature of the beast.

Baylor I guess is pretty close to “conservative”

Didn’t the administration at Baylor start letting the students hold dances on campus a few years ago?
