Cass Sunstein wants to spread America's wealth to poorer nations.

JERUSALEM – It is "desirable" to redistribute America's wealth to poorer nations, argued President Obama's newly confirmed regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein. According to Sunstein, global climate change is primarily the fault of U.S. environmental behavior and can, therefore, be used as a mechanism to redistribute the country's wealth. The argument bears striking resemblance to comments made by Obama's former environmental adviser, Van Jones. WND reported Jones used a major environmental convention to argue for spreading America's wealth. Now WND has learned Sunstein made similar, more extensive arguments. The Obama czar penned a 2007 University of Chicago Law School paper – obtained and reviewed by WND – in which he debated whether America should pay "justice" to the world by entering into a compensation agreement that would be a net financial loss for the U.S. Sunstein heavily leans on the side of such an agreement, particularly a worldwide carbon tax that would heavily tariff the U.S.

These redistribute the wealth idiots.... reminds me of a bad marriage... they see the shiny stuff and want half of it...

and they always overlook the associated liability...

Most of what you see is financed.

If justice requires that we should pay the undeveloped nations for whatever pollution or consumption of raw materials or whatever else; shouldn't they have to pay us for all the advances we have made in medicine, agriculture, communications, science, and innumerable or areas ?

Not to mention the many billions of foreign aid and peace keeping services throughout the world

Its only fair, right?

One of the few proposals Obama made in the Senate was one that would create sort of a global welfare system.

Obama hired this guy because he agrees with this idea.

Yeah genius guys, bring our economy down and spread it around. Doubtful Cass would even live thru the dark ages hell-on-earth that would follow his big dream.

It's infuriating that the senate confirmed this lunatic. Thanks to the 57 traitors that voted yea!

Six Republicans voted yes– Bennett, Collins, Hatch, Lugar, Snowe, and Voinovich.

There was once a certain dictator who surrounded himself with all sorts of extraneous advisers who had some way over the top socialistic ideals. He proved to not only be dangerous to his own people but to the rest of the world, the affects of which we are still trying to come to terms with.

While it may mean nothing at all, the situation here seems errily similar.

“Cass Sunstein wants to spread America’s wealth to poorer nations.”

Fellow FReepers: You have nothing to fear from Comrade Sunstein. He says he wants to spread America’s wealth to poorer nations. But I ask you, after 0 is done with America, she won’t have any wealth to spread, so what are you worried about? /sarc
