I have no religion ... I have a personal relationship with Jesus.

Ditto!!
It’s a relationship... not a religion.
The body of believers that I gather with is Evangelical, but my relationship with Jesus Christ is the Bottom Line!!!

The poll is poorly made and sucks.
I was an Episcopalian, a major church in the US, but it is not even listed.
To see the results, you have to zigzag back and forth.
What is with that?

Faith and religion are not the same thing. Religion is completely a ‘man-made’ phenomena. It can take as many forms are there are people on earth. Faith is a truly basic, stand-alone fact of spirituality. You belive or you don’t.

It’s sort of like cars.... Faith is an automobile, religion can be a...(fill in the blank) a Ford, Chevy, Jeep??????? Whatever...they are all CARS.

Religion is man’s method by which he gets to God ... but God already came down to us.

I have no religion ... I have a personal relationship with Jesus.

That's great ... but ...

His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms ... Ephesians 3:10

By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another ... John 13:35

are you plugged into a community of His disciples somewhere ... or are you winging it on your own?

Well, it seemed to me the poll asks about your religion then, not your faith. As for the zig zag, that is weird the way it worked. However it is one of those blogspot sites that are free so the structure of the pole is what blogspot probably only gives them to use.

Okay. Enough is enough.
Those 15 Atheists have to be tracked down, converted, or burned at the stake.

“Well, it seemed to me the poll asks about your religion then, not your faith. “

You lost me.
My religion is Christian. My “denomination” was Episcopalian.
They do list a number of Christian denominations.
Anyway, the list is strange.

That was a reply to SMARTY, who said their is a difference between religion and faith.

The reply about the zig zag way you nhave to read the results was to you.

Sorry for the confusion.

I guess unaffiliated evangelical christian would most describe me.

You know how they say that all politics is local? Your faith and the church should be the same.

I have a firm belief in God and the teachings of Christ. I have no time or inclination for religious denominations which are contrivances of man and nothing but differing interpretations of what God and the message is. Religious strife has always derived from one denomination or religion trying to impose their interpretation on the rest of the “non-believers”.

I attend an independent Baptist church.

The church (ecclesia) is the called out body of believers, not brick and mortar nor a denomination.
