Obviously I have posted numerous articles here about non-Muslim Brits catering to Islam. To be honest, the US is no better in this regard. Michigan medical students have played right into the hand of the U-M’s Muslim Medical Students Association who had sponsored Fast-A-Thon Wednesday. Trust me it wouldn't be long until the non-Muslims students are asked to do more to "understand" Muslims. Our clock is ticking, and we are not even fighting.

Fasting won’t help to understand stoning of women or cutting off human neads while the person is alive.
Sorry, but not eating during daylight hours, then gorging yourself at dinner is NOT fasting.

If they really want to understand Muslims they should take a semester off and go live in Pakistan or Saudi Arabia. ....and maybe try to attend church, organize a pro-America rally, date local Muslims, openly criticize terrorists, wear around a yarmulke, etc.
Their understanding of Islam would be complete in a very short time.

Yes, I have.
I have done 12 hour fasts, 24 hour fasts, and even a couple of 48 hour and one 72 hour fasts.
And I guarantee that I didn't gorge myself afterward.
You can literally hurt yourself doing that.
YTou have to come back into it gradually, especially after an extended fast.
I understood Muslims quite fast.

I understand muslims just fine. They hate everything. Women are detested more than everything else. What’s not to understand?
And they speak in tongues to understand Pentecostals?

And they give up pork to understand Jews?
And they give up coffee to understand Mormons?
What? They starve to death to understand Hindus?
