Is Jonah Goldberg now a Birther?

By the very rules established by the Democrats, the mainstream media, and their Republican allies, Jonah Goldberg of the National Review might now qualify as a "Birther" or at least a BirthSymp ("Birther" sympathizer).

In order not to be a "Birther" - as defined by the aforementioned groups - one must believe to the core of one's being that not only was Obama born in HI, but that he's told the complete truth about his past and he's not trying to cover anything up. Expressing any doubts will not be tolerated; one must confess that any deviation from the narrative provided by Obama is impossible. I didn't make those rules: they did.

But, now Goldberg offers "A Ring of Truth(ers)/Truthers vs. birthers" (here) in which he admits that - while he doesn't believe it - it's possible that Obama is lying about where he was born. Once again: according to the very rules established by the witch hu, er, anti-Birthers, simply admitting it as a possibility is enough to get Goldberg tarred as a dreaded "Birther".

Note: I don't think Goldberg is a "Birther"; this is a commentary on attempts by the respectability-seeking, intellectually-dishonest GOP establishment hacks who want to conduct purges. As in the USSR, some of those who took part in purges were later purged themselves.

If believing Obama about anything is a requirement for not being a fringe kook, I choose to be a fringe kook. It beats being a sucker. The only thing certain anyone can say about Obama is that he lies. He is hiding his birth certificate for some reason, and until he stops, the real kooks are those who choose to believe him. If people would help me use the cut-and-dried facts - not speculation - of this matter to discredit the MSM, we could force them to offer better coverage and beat back those who want to conduct purges. Despite months of trying, I haven’t gotten any help with that.

Here's the logical disconnect with people here and everywhere.

Obama lies are chronicled everyday, 24/7, all the time. How many times does Obama have to lie to you before you disbelieve anything he has to say? This is like 'battered wife syndrome'. People go back for more and more. Dumb and stupid. It's more than 'possible' Obama is lying to you about his origins, it's highly likely.

I'm a birther, too. I have no idea where Obama was born, nor do I have any pre-conceived notions as to where he might have been born or who his father was or wasn't.

This is "Stump", winner of "Best in Show" at the February, 2009 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

As a "birther" I would simply like any person on the left, right or center to explain to me why it's far easier to document and verify the circumstances of Stump's birth than it is for that of the person who holds the most powerful office on the planet?

As much as I'd like an answer to where Obama was born, I'd settle for an honest, satisfactory answer to the above. In the meantime, we must content with being "Stumped."

When Lolo Soetoro adopted Barry in Hawaii after Lolo marryed Stanley Ann Dunham, he legally changed the child's name to Barry Soetoro and subsequently registered him as an Indonesian citizen and entered him into schools in Indonesia. A few years later, Stanley Ann sent Barry back to live with Stanley Ann's parents in Hawaii, still a child and still legally named Barry Soetoro. How do we know that? ... Because in 1980 when Stanley finally filed divorce from Lolo, she listed TWO children Lolo was legally responsible to support, one over eighteen. That 'over eighteen' would be Barry Soetoro, already registered and attending Occidental College in the LA area ... he entered college in August or September of 1979, the year before Stanley Ann filed for divorce naming Barry Soetoro as one of the legal responsibilities of Lolo Soetoro in her 1980 divorce pleading.

It's more than 'possible' Obama is lying to you about his origins, it's highly likely.

Unfortunately for us, that's about all a reasonable person can say...until there are state laws on the books requiring

(1) Documentation of eligibility
(2)A SCOTUS definition of "Natural Born Citizen,"

All we have left to us is our 1st Amendment freedom of speech to continue to ask questions and demand answers. "The Validity of Military Orders," legal issue appears to be making some headway. You will not learn of it from the MSM, and shockingly (shocking, I tell you) you will not hear it from your favorite talkers on the radio, either.

In an ideal world, with real Republican Leadership, these issues would be intelligently discussed by elected officials. Alas, such appears very unlikely. I cannot understand their silence on the issue.

Speaking of silence, perhaps rather than risk perjury, Pelosi, Reid, and Dean actually "neglected" to certify Obama's eligibility on the documents passed from the Democrat Party Convention to 50 State Attorneys General to have Obama and Biden placed on the official states' ballots, and to get the states' Electoral College votes.
