Liberal David Sirota Calls Conservative Opposition to Obama a "Racist Lynch Mob" - Video 9/12/09

Here is video of CNN Anchor Don Lemon and liberal columnist David Sirota saying "race" is the "elephant in the room" with the Tea Party Express and opposition to President Obama.

They tag-teamed Florida GOP Chairman Jim Greer in the discussion. He was trying to say opposition to Obama is about his policies, and that it is wrong to bring up "race" when it is not a legitimate part of the discussion.

Sirota was just vicious in describing those opposing Obama as a "racist lynch mob." The CNN Anchor, Don Lemon, then chimed in when Greer said "race" was not the issue, "but it is the elephant in the room."

Obama and Democrats just keep trying to deflect any criticism of Obama's philosophy and governing by playing the "race" card. They are trying to avoid real questions from average Americans about where he is trying to take the country. It won't work.

Obama's far-left ideology is "the elephant in the room." . . . (VIDEO)

So we're not allowed to oppose any of obama's decisions or policies without someone automatically assuming or assigning race as the motivator? That in itself is blatantly racist. Just because I am a different race than obama, based on my race someone is going to assume/assign motives to me? That is racist to the core.

I oppose obama and his socialist/fascist agenda, period. I don't give a flying rip what race he is.

The real issue is that everyone but whites are allowed to play identity politics and work to promote their own selfish interests. If this was a black mob protesting against Bush the media would have zero problem with it. Hell, they would think it a good thing.

“Were all blacks who opposed George W Bush racist as well?”
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

I had a conversation in the gym this past week with a black man who says he DID NOT vote for Obama because he considered his resume much too thin. He supports abortion, he supports reparations but he thought Obama was totally wrong to say that the police acted stupidly in the Gates affair and he says Obama should not have been calling people liars as he was doing just before Joe Wilson called Obama a liar.
This man told me that even though he didn’t vote for Obama he believes that Obama loves this country and asked if I agreed. I politely replied that no I don’t and that is my considered opinion based on study and I mentioned the twenty years of sitting in Rev. Wright’s church and asked how Obama could listen to a preacher who hates America if he himself loves America. Then he asked me if that opinion had anything to do with Obama being black! I said no it does not it has to do with what I believe and what Obama believes and I would probably come down harder on him if he were white, then I asked him if his low opinion of George W. Bush had anything to do with his being white! He said no it didn’t. I then told him that the way that question sounded to him was the same way the question about being black sounded to me. He seemed to understand exactly what I meant. Then I told him that as far as I am concerned Obama is not a black man anyway. A light seemed to come on in his eyes and he said, “Well, you know that IS true, his mother was as white as you are”. “Yes”, I replied,”And by some reports his claimed father was mainly Arab so I am not even sure if he is more than one eighth black”.
I don’t put up with this attitude that any white man who disagrees with Obama is automatically a racist. I am on the offensive now, I don’t play defense. I made it plain that I am ready to vote for Thomas Sowell or Walter Williams for president anytime I get the chance but I will not support a Marxist, communist, socialist, fascist, whatever you want to call it president simply because his skin tone is darker than average.

Any time a white person objects to something blacks want they are automatically racist. That’s the bottom line. If you oppose reparations you’re racist. If you oppose affirmative action you’re racist. If you oppose government health care you’re racist. If you oppose Obama you’re racist. Get used to being called racist or get used to being rolled over.

The other thing you can do is bring up Warner Todd Huston’s column from early 2008 about how an Obama Presidency would set race relations back 50 years.

Damn, am I embarrassed and I'm from the South. I was standing on the lawn of the Capitol about a hundred yards from the speakers' stand when this black guy and his friend saddled up next to me. He had a great sign of the capitol and pictures of the Dem big-wigs as faces on pigs. The title was a spoof of Orwell's Animal Farm and said, We are all equal but some are more equal than others.

I gave him my card w/ my email address and asked him to take a pic and send it to me by email. He said he would. I did not realize I could have just lynched the Niggra Boy and honkey date and taken it. Opportunities not seen, opportunities missed.

The proper response to being called a racist when the disagrement is political is to say, race is irrelevent, this is a policy issue. OVER and OVER.

Race baiting is the way countries get torn apart and taken over.

Horrible things occur

Read Sowell’s Race and Culture to find out where the Leftists are taking us.

Guess I’m going to get called a racist a lot then. I will not roll over and let obama trash America and turn it into a socialist nightmare. TEA Parties for everyone! I’m going to be a volunteer worker for the GOP in the next election cycle (another first).

“The term ‘racism’ was invented by Communists.”

You are so right. I agree that those who use the term are either Communists or their ignorant useful idiots.

Sirota, another Socialist fade. If you posted the slanted opinion of every US socialist like Sirota, we would never get to the real news on FreeRepublic.

Sirota was a fellow at the communist organization “Center for American Progress” and wrote at the Daily Kos. He is a communist and a fade. Of course he supports Obama and the other communist, and criticizes Patriots and freedom minded people. He is another communist nut-job.
