Well, this is kind of awkward for the White House. I seem to recall, like it was yesterday (or the day before), hearing Obama tell us that illegals would not be covered under ObamaCare.

It is not a loophole, it is a law that has been in place since 1986 that emergency rooms must treat illegal aliens, even if they cannot pay.

He should go to the floor of the House and apologize:
“I apologize for interupting and exposing one of the many lies in President Obama’s speech on Wednesday. I should not have interrupted that deceitful oratorical regurgitation of bile that was his speech in that forum. My emotional intellect and passion for the truth got the best of me in one outrageous moment.”
Well we’ll just grant them amnesty and they won’t be illegal right.

Don’t worry. Your precious illegals will still have access to emergency room care. The “health care” bill they are negotiating was going to authorize them to stand in line with you at your doctor’s office. The changes they are supposedly making will prevent that.
Although I’m sure if you want to bring along a few with you and pay for them out of your own pocket none of us will care.
Ream my posts, I am against Socialized Medicine in all forms, including Medicare as well as the law signed in 1986 that mandated that hospitals provide free treatment to illegal aliens.

Judge Napolitano says that it will be ILLEGAL to keep health care from illegal aliens with the passage of the bill under the Constitution and he said Obama should know that.
Now that is an apology I could live with!

A caller to the Howie Carr Show said they were at Mass General and made a comment about pretending to be an Illegal Alien. A Social Worker ran out of her office and told him it was illegal to impersonate an illegal Alien.
Or:
“I’m sorry if anyone was offended by my uninterruption in the middle of the President’s speech last night. Next time, I won’t wait until the middle”.
It needs to be made crystal clear, both in the bill and the committee report that accompanies it, the the law is not intended to apply to illegal aliens. Otherwise, the ban might be ineffective.
Closing loopholes doesn’t matter. All the WH cares about is getting some bill, *any* bill, out of both houses of congress to a conference committee of both houses. Why? Because a conference committee can do anything it wants to both bills to make a unified bill.
They can add right back illegal aliens, and death panels, and free abortions for everybody, and euthanasia, forced organ donation, you name it.
Then once the unified bill leaves the conference committee, it goes back to the House and the Senate for an up-or-down vote. And this is the *only* vote that matters.
This is when Obama and the radical leaders use every arm twisting bit they can, just for this one vote. And they just need a simple majority in both houses to pass it, so Obama can sign it.
So that means that if *any* bill is passed by both houses, we, everybody, loses. We lose EVERYTHING.
It will mean abortions nationwide, and no hospital can refuse them, almost like right after Roe v. Wade was passed.
And it means that every evil and murderous invention will be shoved down our collective throats.
And not one, NOT ONE, Republican has come out to say that if the Republicans get a majority again, they will REPEAL this catastrophe.
They could do this, and it would be perfectly legal. But they won’t.
And every Republican candidate and office holder needs to be asked why they won’t.
Go to Mexico and we need a passport to get back into our own country...they don’t.

RED ALERT — La Raza: “If the American people found out...”
“Suzanne”, a female caller to Mark Levin’s show on June 25th, revealed the ominous secret of the Democrat health care reform effort.
I want to tell you that last week I attended a conference on health care reform sponsored by La Raza. And I will tell you that what they had to say, Mark, is scarier than anything that’s been said so far on the health care plan.
The kind of comments that were made and the notes that I took... they started the conference out by saying “America does not need health care reform, but Latino immigrants need health care reform.”
And someone from Menendez’ office [Ed.: Sen. Robert Menendez, D-NJ] promised that he would make sure that “the useless barriers of citizenship would not be in this bill” and that he would make sure that they would use keywords like “streamline”...
It was La Raza, the Childrens Defense Fund and Senator Menendez from New Jersey, a representative from his office...
...Yes [they said they would get free health care for illegal aliens], these are my notes, Mark. They actually got up and said “Latino children need health care more than whites”. And then they would say things like “you must go out into your communities, use words like ‘streamline’, use phrases like ‘all workers’ and ‘all families’,” because they said — and I quote — “If the American people find out that this bill is about giving health care to non-citizens, they will rise up against it.”
...One of the quotes they said was, “We want to make sure we take care of barriers like verification, but we can streamline programs to the more affluent” and, quote, “Useless treatments for the elderly can be gone because we don’t need to spend money for people who are going to die anyway.”
That’s a direct quote from that meeting. They also said, “We are very concerned there will be an effort to include” the illegal immigrants in this argument, so “we must make sure that we focus this” to the American people that it’s looking like we want “health care for everyone”.
And they also said that 75% of the children who will be picked up in this will be non-citizens and that 44% of the uninsured are non-citizens and they can’t possibly allow the American people to know this.” [Ed: Oops!]
Menendez’ office said that he’s going to make sure that “a family of four that makes $66,000 a year or less will pay nothing at all for the new health care. And he was the one who said he was going to get rid of specifics like “citizenship status” and focus on, quote, “equity for all workers”.
