Here is audio of Rush Limbaugh talking about Obama's speech to students today.
Limbaugh said Obama's speech today was not the "original intent." He went on to say the "the original intent of the speech was a dear leader kind of thing," and "right out of the pages of Kim Jong Il." (Watch Video)

Yeah, he does that.
bump
On what does Rush base this assertion of Obama’s original intent? Was there a rough draft of Obama’s school speech floating out there somewhere? I just read the current speech and it’s no different then any other presidential speech to children over the last 50 years or so. I just want to see this draft Rush is talking about, or is Rush just making this up for Radio theater?
I heard that the Obama administration put out that original intent, just to get conservatives all worked-up, so that when he actually gave the speech, they would look foolish because it wasn’t anything like they said it would be!
One fact is the Education Department changed the illegal leason plan it gave to all the schools.
The little bit of “help the President”.
So, yeah, I’ll bet they were a little shocked at the reaction and did a “redo” of his speach.
Interesting fact that I found out this weekend: The only two other presidents to address our school kids were, Ronald Reagan and George HW Bush.
Reagans speach was about the importance of low taxes and smaller govt, where as Bushes was about the importance of education. As much as I love Reagan, I dub his inappropriate as we would if our pres__ent were to make a similar speach. However, I did read that the NEA was furious that Bush spend about $26000 to do his speach, of course the NEA scumbags are so quiet this time around.
This guy will screw up and step over the line because his ego is so big that he would be able to control himself.
Here is something to read
I’d also like to know how people knew the content had been changed. Just another piece of drama otherwise.
No, that was the original intent and the speech had already been seen by people; they actually did have to scale it back. It doesn’t make us look foolish at all, no matter what Neal Boortz (the sudden Libertarian defender of Obama!) says.
I don’t think he should have been allowed to “address the children” at all, personally, and when I heard Bambi’s nasal voice whining about how he had been the “poor child of a single mother”...gimme a break!...I was ready to upchuck.
Let's just 'move on'"
The Left always expect their actions to be passed off as "let bygones be bygones", but the actions of those they hate are never to be forgotten.
It was meant in response to your link regarding the response of Democrats when Bush spoke to the schools.
"Oh, but that was a long time ago. Let's just 'move on'" The Left always expect their actions to be passed off as "let bygones be bygones", but the actions of those they hate are never to be forgotten.
No problem.
The interesting thing is once again the MSM is backstopping the libs agenda.
When they mention that “Bush did it” they fail to mention that “Yes, Bush did it but the Democrats investigated him after it was over.”
We gave him the chance to sanitize it, and cover up another assault on our values.
“One fact is the Education Department changed the illegal leason plan it gave to all the schools.”
What illegal lesson plan? Do you have any evidence or info? I am still looking for a link to the original draft that everyone was upset about. Does one even exist or was this reactionary silliness?
I would certainly be pissed about an illegal lesson plan. Where was this info published? Can you send a link?
Don’t keep up much with the news do you?
That is not my problem.
I kept my kids home yesterday.
Does anyone have a link to saved copies of the lesson plan versions?
Thanks.
