Most Conservatives I know, regard Liberals as kind-hearted folk who are simply naive’. In our opinions, Liberals haven not given any critical analysis to their party’s ways, nor have they done a whole lot of research - whatever ‘feels’ right has to be the correct way to approach things. That’s why they cannot debate you without a personal attack. They cannot reason with facts, they tend to possess the reasoning ability of a 13 year old girl - all emotion and unicorns, very little quantititave analysis or critical thinking.
But, these same Liberals do not feel that Conservatives are uneducated (yet seem to treat Liberalism as some sort of intellectual pursuit), they do not consider us as critical thinkers, planners or that we ponder any fact and weigh them against our morals and ethics - no, they consider us simply evil, demonic and a force that must be silenced and enslaved.
Like an alcoholic blames everyone else for their failings, Liberals blame Conservatives for every failure that they have produced. Show me a Liberal cause, and I’ll show you a cause that gives an elite few power over the masses. Show me a Liberal program, and I’ll show you a program that depends upon others to finance it, and a program that is destined for bankruptcy. No matter how poorly managed, no matter how poorly executed - if it fails it is laid at the Conservative’s feet.
But, most depressing of all, is the lack of backbone, the lack of integrity and lack of credability the Republican party has demonstrated in the past 20 years; unable to show through speeches, through signatures and through actions that the very things laid at their feet, were created, managed and bankrupted by Liberals. No, the Repbulican party is terrified that they might hurt a Liberal’s feelings - somehow believing that if they only appease the Liberals enough, that somehow or another, a Liberal will vote for them in the next election.
That’s only fair as I see liberals as “simply evil, demonic” etc.
Amen, brother. I have been “debating” a former far left liberal colleague of mine. There is NOTHING logical in his arguments, only generalities about how we “should” be doing things (according to him, of course) an straw man arguments about people dying from lack of health care and the rights he supposedly lost because Christians have somehow stolen them from him.
When pressed to provide the article and section from the Constitution that allows the federal government to provide health care for everyone or to provide the names of people who died because of lack of health care or even to name ONE right he has lost in the past 30 years, he cannot. As usual, he is all talk and arm waving and no logic or reason.
