A better use of genetic engineering resources would be to perfect a way to grow beef, chicken, lamb and other meats in a factory directly from tissue cultures without the bother of cutting the meat from a living animal.

I'd probably still prefer real meat but that's just because I'm a throw-back about a lot of things

I live in the fly-over portion of the country, growing meat on the hoof is vital to our livelihood.
