Wall Street Journal ^ | 09/03/2009 | Karl Rove

August was the worst month of Barack Obama's presidency. And he seems to know it—he is now planning to deliver a speech to a joint session of Congress 232 days into his administration in a desperate attempt to save his biggest domestic priority, overhauling health care.

Got the ‘moo’ knocked right off the ‘siah’, did we?

Probably shouldn’t spent your entire campaign as nothing more than say anything to get elected, should we. A carefully conceived shuck and jive act from start to finish, it was.

Obamessiah can talk all he wants, but this is what the American people really think:

Video Regarding Exeter, NH Town Hall Meeting... Speaking From the Heart Against Obamacare.

Here is a Youtube video of the event of August 31 where Manchester Mayor Frank Guinta spoke at an Exeter, NH town hall meeting in Exeter that you may not have seen and may want to view and forward to others involved in the battle against Obama Death care entitled:

...constituent speaks from the heart (about Obamacare)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRzlLa48Wps

I spoke shortly after the retired police man from NYC who was ejected the day before by Carol Shea Porter. There were paid activist (possibly union) thugs outside the hall dressed in SCREAM masks and gowns screaming "Stop Republican Scare Tactics". Needless to say, I let them. congress and Obama have it with both barrels.

I heard on the radio this morning that health care reform is being blocked -- "by a very vocal minority".

I think I saw a poll where this minority consits of about 70% of all Americans.

It would be nice, wouldn’t it, if the Republicans had the cojones to boycott the session.

“The people have lost trust in Obama and he’s NOT going to get it back.” - Rush Limbaugh

QUOTE: “Fouad Ajami [has] a brilliant piece posted on the Wall Street Journal website ...and it basically cuts to the chase. ..It’s just right on the money. The headline of this: “Obama’s Summer of Discontent.” The subhead: “The politics of charisma is so Third World. Americans were never going to buy into it for long.”

I can summarize this piece: Fouad Ajami says Barack Obama is not American. Not that he wasn’t born here. Not that he’s false and not that he’s violating the Constitution.

Culturally, he’s not American.

I’ll give you excerpts from Fouad Ajami’s piece to back that up. Fouad Ajami does NOT write that. Now, don’t misunderstand. This is my synthesizing of the piece.

The people have lost trust in Obama and he’s not going to get it back.” - Rush / Tues. 8/25/09 http://tinyurl.com/1xln

I think that Obama has been ambushed by his own myopia. He started running for President almost immediately after he succeeded Carol Mosley Brown as US Senator from Illinois. Having gotten national exposure from the 2004 Democrat Convention, he firmly latched himself to the anti-Iraq War and rode it through the Democrat Primaries of 2008. By the time of the 2008 Convention, the Iraq War was losing steam so Obama added arrows to his quiver in the form of Union Card Check, Global Warming AND, National Health Care.

I believe that he fully expected Health Care Reform to have been a Walk-in-the-Park by avoiding the errors of Clinton's earlier attempt and given the near unprecedented control of Congress. When Senator Specter switched parties, he probably leaned back and said "I am the luckiest SOB".

He forgot the ancient maxim; "Whom the Gods would destroy, they first make mad!" When he made for overwhelming government intrusion and control like 'mad', the MAJORITY of the American People became correspondingly 'mad' at him.

“A carefully conceived shuck and jive act from start to finish, it was.”

Over one billion dollars does pay for a lot of analysis...

People should never forget that this was the best Presidency money could buy. 0bama pledged to take public funds, then reneged and outspent McCain something like 3 to 1.

It’s clear real campaign finance reform is crucial.

Utterly amazing that so many people fell for it, too, especially senior citizen voters. I expect young voters and even some middle aged voters who aren't paying attention to fall for the slick promotion and being told exactly what they wanted to hear, or so they thought. However, one would think that people in the sunset of their lives would have sufficient experience to recognize a politician like Obamalamadingdong for what he is, but they didn't. Utterly amazing, I tell you.....

Republicans and Independents: don’t get overconfident! Don’t take a little rough spot for granted and think you’ve got it made.

Free stuff is the magic elixir that makes it work. Of course you also need ignorant people who still believe in ‘free stuff’ and ‘get the other guy’. Key tenets of of Democrat friend’s shtick.

It’s easy to see how the Democrats have been playing these songs for years and we have just been saying, aw shucks they don’t really mean.

well the really bad news is they did.

Got the ‘moo’ knocked right off the ‘siah’, did we?

And he is going to try to solve the problem by spreading a bunch of stuff that comes out of the back side of an animal that says "MOO"
