Sounds like you need a trade-in for your congressional clunker. He seems not to get the difference between ‘consent of the governed’ and sees it more as if ‘he is part of the ruling WDC walled city politburo’.
The more you see of these congressional clunkers up close and personal, the clearer that view seems to become.

A business asso. went to Pallone’s T.H. meeting in Piscataway last week, and heaped Hell Fire on his forehead over the recent rise in business taxes. Also, the pending 8 percent buss. tax for health care and the potential stifling taxes from cap and trade.

There was a rather revealing moment in a subsequent question along these lines, which asked “why are you forcing this plan on us?” and the response from the more vocal supporters of the plan was “because we won the election!” which I thought was a particularly nice gesture from the “building bridges and community” crowd.Oh, okay. So now we know what to do and what to say, after we win the 2010 and 2012 elections, and they start whining about the major policy changes we'll be stuffing down their throats: "Because we won the election."
