An Unprecedented Power Grab
America Talks ^ | 08/30/09 | David Zublick

We stand at a crossroads in our nation's history. Barack Obama and his minions are attempting an unprecedented power grab. If they are allowed to succeed, it will forever change our country, and it will definitely diminish the rights of every American citizen.

Obama has appointed no less than 37 czars that answer only to him. Even the House and Senate have no power over them. These czars have very radical backgrounds.

John Holdren, the science czar, advocated population control and mandatory abortions. Van Jones, the environmental czar, was profiled byGlenn Beck extensively last week on his popular Fox News program. He is an avowed communist with ties to black nationalism and anarchism. Jones was also affiliated with the Weather Underground, the group Bill Ayers is famous for, which was responsible for blowing up buildings - and apologetically.

With all of these radicals advising Obama on policy, one has to wonder what kind of moves he will make to ensure that these policies are implemented.

Obama has talked of building a civilian national security force. What will be its purpose? Will it be to control the citizenry if they revolt against the policies of a Marxist regime? The military itself is currently recruiting men and women to work in internment camps. (See an ad for an internment specialist on the Army's website here.) Where will these camps be located? And whom are they intended to confine?

There has been talk of the FCC re-implementing the Fairness Doctrine or some form of it, for the purpose of effectively silencing the opposition to Obama's policies. Now comes word that a Senate bill would give the White House the power to disconnect private sector computers from the Internet. The Obama regime claims it would only utilize that power in a cybersecurity emergency. But who determines what constitutes an emergency? These questions remain unanswered.

The American people have responded to Obama's health care plan powerfully, speaking up at town hall meetings, demanding answers from their senators and representatives regarding a 1000 plus page bill that many of them have not taken the time to read. Citizens on all sides of the political spectrum are abhorred by the idea of losing their choices when it comes to medical treatment. And there is a legitimate fear that bureaucrats will make decisions on who is worthy to live and when the proverbial plug should be pulled.

But while the reaction to health care is laudable, it may be a case of not seeing the forest for the trees. There is a much larger picture here with regard to the government attempting to take complete control of the lives of its citizens.

We must remain vigilant to everything this administration is attempting to do. If not, we will soon find ourselves in a country our Founding Fathers would not recognize.

It’s ALL over the Internet, no wonder 0bama is trying to shut us down.

Too late 0bozo. And we now know which Court to file our cases in.

Listen to this: http://blogtalk.vo.llnwd.net/o23/shows/show_668436.mp3

Get that podcast out to every conservative you know. We’ve been deceived by . . . EVERYONE in DC politics for too long. Those “birther” lawsuits were filed in the WRONG COURT and filed the WRONG WAY. You’ll understand when you listen to the podcast.

...Even the House and Senate have no power over them...

Under the Constitution, that is simply not true. Congress is in desperate need of a Remedial Constitution Class.

Hmmm you might have a good idea. If enough red states started evoking the 10th it could snowball. Blue states and libs in red states love fed money and can’t seem to make the connection between their money and gov’t seizure of their money.

I know Perry will not hesitate to use the 10th. La Miss Ok maybe fla, ala and several midwest states will also stand up.

The problem is the stupid blue states who think fed money is free.

I do not see another viable option. This cannot continue, we cannot wait for 2010. The damage will be terminal then.

Short of Impeachment, this is the only option.

There can be no economic recovery until Obozo is out of office, or neutered.

There was just a GOP Gov’s conference. I wish they’d discussed this there.
Now is the time to start this while millions and millions are paying attention to what the feds are doing
You are right, we can’t wait but it seems we are

“Don’t worry. Juan McCain and the RINO’s will stop him.”

Thanks a ton! I love laughing while sliding toward hell!

As long as we can laugh, Obummer hasn’t and can’t win.

This is an extremely powerful video. The last 15-20 minutes is especially relevant to what is happening today:

Yuri Bezmenov Speaks

Those without broadband beware. The interview is 1:21 long.

There was a gathering on the steps of the Capital in Austin yesterday. And a petition has been delivered to Governor “Rick” to demand holding the powers of the Federal Government to exactly what was granted in the Constitution. And stating that any other power belonged to the State and the People.

I have not seen a good report on the gathering, but from reports I heard it was 1,500 to 2,000 people.

The petition was circulated on-line and participation was huge.

Thanks
I will visit those sites but what I do get pi**ed at is people who think Perry is for succession.
That is not and has never been the object.
The country could take some lessons from how we do business here.
My biggest concern is all the illegals will change us to the point we become a gov’t sucking blue state

Secession is not a good option.

10th Amendment movement is the only viable approach at this point. Governor “Rick” has already stated how he feels about it. And he like most Texans are not interested in Secession, but in the final resolution of this, if there is no other option it could happen.

No sane person wants to see the Nation broken up, but I for one will not be a subject of the Cretin in DC. My ancestors were literally burned out of Alabama and left during Reconstruction due to the abuses of the Radical Republican Party. That is how we came to Texas.

I do not feel the American People will allow this to happen. I know Texans will not be a part of it, whatever it takes.

you might possibly have just had your last election.

I knew that way before Nov. 4th. I literally cried as I left the voting booth, didn't stop until I got home. Yeah...I was just all crazy talk....

Oh I agree with you but the national media deliberately misconstrued what Gov. Perry said and made it as if we Texans are crazy secessionists/
As other states see how we were able to minimize what that POS obama has done I think they pay attention
