Democrat Rep. Justifies Obama Agenda with "The Constitution Does Not Cover Everything" - Audio

Here is audio of New Hampshire Democrat Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter telling a caller on a radio program, "The Constitution does not cover everything." She made the statement in answer to a caller who questioned where Congress thinks they have the authority to propose legislation like ObamaCare.

Shea-Porter rattled off a litany of things she said were "not in the Constitution," and then made the summary statement, "The Constitution does not cover everything."

Actually, it does provide clear principles to cover everything, the most basic of all principles that people ought to be free, and government is to be limited in what it does.

Members of Congress like Shea-Porter have lost the big picture principles that are in the Constitution, and they are instead all about reinterpreting it to support the radical leftist agenda they seek to impose on the nation. The caller's sentiments are reflecting the mood of a growing and fed-up number of Americans. . . . . (Listen to Audio)

What is the purpose of the Constitution?
From where do our Rights originate?
What is the principle of Marxism?
How did this Rep get elected?

“Members of Congress like Shea-Porter have lost the big picture principles that are in the Constitution...”

Well, not quite. Actually, these imbeciles actively CHOOSE TO IGNORE the principles contained in the US Constitution. They simply avoid them when they are in conflict with their mad march to marxism.

It’s time to take back the country.

Wow. Retardedness and rationalizating revisionism goes to MiddleEast levels.

Actually, the Constitution DOES cover everything. It says “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Now they don’t bother to read the Constitution either? I guess that will be my new sign for the Tea Party. If you won’t read the bills, at least read the Constitution!

Sounds like a clear admission of sedition. The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the land.

If not then get ready for anarchy AKA the law of the jungle.

"The Constitution Does Not Cover Everything"

Actually, it does:

The 10th Amendment: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

If a power is not explicitly granted to the federal government in the Constitution, it doesn't belong to the federal government.

Bzzzzzt. The Constitution doesn't provide "clear principles." It provides specific delegated powers, separated into specific branches. Principles may be inferred from the Constitution, but its purpose is not to provide principles about freedom. It is supposed to describe, in the finest detail, those powers which are delegated to the national gubmint.

The Constitution is not a vision statement. It's the actual blueprint. It's the finished product.

Actually, it does: The 10th Amendment:

I was going to say 9th and 10th, but even just the 10th will do.

Bingo.

And the Constitution is not taught in school anymore for exactly this reason.
