Bird flu fizzled in the US, due to private healthcare I guess. I am sure this would not stop them from declaring another ‘emergency’.
Well, he doesn’t have his civilian security force yet (at least not one as powerful as the U.S. military), and I would LIKE to think that our military and police leaders would NOT follow his illegal order for martial law should it occur.

I believe that the WHO has already called for level 6, which is pandemic.
With that in place, the Joker can call marital law whenever he wants to. Some time in the fall I would guess, when it will be coming around again.

Hussein would need to have operatives hand pick any military personnel he wanted to “control”—that is, fire on—the American people. Damn few in the military would do that, as the military exists today.

I’ve seen several Freepers predict this would be the way for the Baraqqis to sieze power. Given the incredible tactics they are using on healthcare and capntax, nothing would surprise me now.
It won’t be an easy road for them though.
Unless somehow they can implement internet control ahead of time. Maybe Axelrod can buy the software from from Iran or China?

What if they declare that we have a pandemic but no one is sick? What if they declare martial law and no one follows the order? What if ozero declares that he is now our dictator and no one pays attention?
Remember Rahm Emmanuel said how you can’t let a crisis go to waste? He said that a crisis allows you to do things you couldn’t do otherwise?
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Obamabots are biding their time until some crisis comes along. Then they will take actions they wouldn’t take otherwise.
Martial law? That would have to be such an extreme emergency or invasion of our country to legitimately declare martial law.
