"In extreme secrecy from the public, the Obama administration is hammering out an international treaty with other several other countries and the EU ......under ACTA, the government will get sweeping new powers to search and seize material thought to be in breach of copyright. But why all the secrecy? What it will do on a larger scale is let big brother watch you; however, this time on a completely different level."
"Border guards will be given unprecedented powers to search travelers without warning. They will be able to go through and confiscate any material a person has on their laptop."

He owns most courts
He won’t have any problems. Who is going to stop him? He is acting as King, Chief, Boss...NOT as President of the U.S.A.
Obama is marching toward totalitarianism as fast and as much as he can get away with.
>> I think he’ll have a little problem with the Fourth Amendment there.
Not when crossing the national border. The right to search your personal effects (including your laptop and other electronic media) when entering the country has been upheld in court.
And, of course, OTHER countries HAVE no Fourth Amendment. Canada, for example. And China? Ha.
It’s sad, but it’s very real. I take the issue pretty seriously myself. I travel outside the US quite often and so far no problems... but you can’t be too careful these days.
Anyway, with a little effort it’s possible to arrange things so you don’t have to worry about it.
Wonder why the top cyber-security peep left?

Good, now we can more easily find out what the various commie-left organizations are up to! Also the slimy demonRat politicians who associate with them. (yeah, right)
Border agents and postal workers can search anything that’s crossing the borders - even your rectum - without a warrant. This has pretty much always been the case. First class mail searches were the basis for Bush’s search of electronic and telephonic communications when one party was overseas, limited to the information coming into the country.
So I’ve got somewhere around 360 albums/3,000 songs on my iPhone. How am I supposed to prove that they are legit? Carry around 360+ CD’s, or receipts I no longer have?
Just get PGP and you’re cool.
The 4th ammendment means as much to him as the other 9. He is ignoring/stomping on the entire Constitution and no one is raising hell about it.
Hey Barry, why are you hiding your life records?
This would be better: TrueCrypt
Haven’t you heard the news...Obama has amended all the amendments...none of them apply to this Thugocracy...
Civil war is coming folks...make sure you are prepared...we will have a very dark period in this country...

In England, you can go to jail for not revealing a decryption key, but I think that may be a line that won’t be crossed here.
This is just one more way they are snaking their way in, to track dissidents among the masses. Copyright is just another guise to breach our Constitutional rights of free speech. They don’t give a crap about copied music, they want to see who’s against the admin!
