Could this be the proof that we've all been waiting for? I obviously can't attest to the authenticity of this document, but this case is for real.
Hillary Clinton has already been served on this matter, and there are SEVERAL members of the military, both former and present, who are listed as plaintiffs in this matter, as well as many state representatives.

That's because this issue is such a simple thing to put to rest. I have a passport and a birth certificate. I can produce them at my house in a matter of minutes. I have not spent a million dollars to either acquire them...or to hide them.
This is not a unreasonable thing to ask for since being a "natural born citizen" of the US is a constitutional requirement for the job of President. It's not hateful, and it's not racist.
Proving that you are should be an honor.
Yet Obama cannot and will not produce either. Why?
But boy, did this picture get them worked up...and it will continnue today.

When I last saw yesterday’s discussion on this, there were problems concerning the date Kenya became indenpendent and changed its name (hey, it’s a Kenyan thing!). So, there’s that.
Although it is pleasant to contemplate comeuppance for the socialist joker I am assuming this document is a fraud. I reckon someone will soon reveal the joke and then a lot of folks will be wiping egg off their faces.
There are two facts in this entire controversy that are very clear to me:
1) Obama does not want to release his original long-form birth certificate.
2) I conclude from #1 above that there is something on it very damaging to him. Politically speaking, it may not make a great deal of difference whether it renders him ineligible for the presidency or not. If he lied about a basic fact of his “compelling biography” it will damage him. It will be very hard to “spin” a lie as anything else but harmful to Obama’s image. Although the last Democratic president committed felonies in office and was touted by many as being a “victim,” so doubtless the left will try to spin any damaging revelations too.
Wonder if this is that certificate?
Anyone with a copy of that book that could look up that passage and post here?

No, it was a copy of the birth announcement from the local Penny Saver newspaper. HA!
This has been looked into. When did Kenya become a republic, and who is W F Lavendar? Those are merely two.
There is a thread on DU urging people to flood the internets with fake BC documents, for fun and also to disinform us and confuse us (us being the Sheeple in general).

Kenya was declared a republic on December 12th 1963 with Jomo Kenyatta as 1st the president. Kenyatta died in 1978 and Daniel Arap Moi took over. In 1982, the Kenyan constitution was amended declaring the country a one party state. By late 80's and early 90's, campaign for multiparty system grew strong. The constitution was amended again in 1991 paving way for multiparty system. A general election was held in 1992 and Kanu party led by Moi won the election. Kanu also won the second election in the multiparty era in 1997. The National Rainbow Coalition defeated Kanu in the 2002 general election. There are numerous documents and research essays that DEEPLY explore the Islamic secessionist movement in the 10 mile coastal strip of the British Protectorate leading up to and including 1964.
That area of land, which was part of what is now Coastal Province in Kenya where Mombasa lies, became independent on October 5, 1963 from an agreement in the exchange of letters between the Prime Ministers of Kenya and Zanzibar Messrs Jomo Kenyatta and M. Shamte.
It seems the Coastal Registrar's office started calling itself the "Republic of Kenya" BEFORE Dec. 12, 1964 to protect its rights and not be annexed by neighboring Zanzibar.
The facts still line up for the Kenyan birth certificate to be legitimate.
