I have spent time trying to make sense of the recent debate over Obama's Constitutional qualifications to be President of the United States and have recently come to the conclusion that Obama would be a "natural born" U.S. citizen if his father was Obama Sr., a British subject and Kenyan national at the time of his birth.
My point is simply: IF there was or wasn't a marriage license, and, IF Obama Sr. was legally married in Kenya, and, IF Barry was born in Hawaii, and, IF polygamy was illegal in Hawaii at the time of their wedding, Barry could be a "natural born" citizen, with or without a marriage license.
But I would readily agree, there are far, far too many IFs here.

I am sure he must have attended as a foreign student. There is no other reason to hide those records and spend money to fight them. Absolutely NO reason.
He went to a good school in Hawaii. Even if his grades were mediocre, he is big enough now to laugh all the youthful inattentions off. The ONLY reason to hide his entry records is because he knows that America would not accept a President who claimed on documents that he was a citizen of a foreign country and hid his American citizenship.
Where does it say that? "Natural born citizen" is not defined in the United States Constitution. The Citizenship Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment states that birth "in the United States" and subjection to U.S. jurisdiction at the time of birth, entitles one to citizenship, and 8 U.S.C. 1401 is consistent with the Fourteenth Amendment.
The battle here involves Dear Leader's eligibility to hold the office and is for all the marbles and it's best not to come to a gunfight armed with a knife. I'm happy to accept your statement if you can back it up under the law, but "Citizenship According to Windflier" isn't going to cut it here babe. Peace, A.
The American people have a right to know if Barack Obama does or does not qualify to be their President, and it's simple a shame Barack Obama doesn't see this and act to end it for the good of the country as quickly as possible.

Not if he revoked that citizenship to become a citizen of Indonesia. Once you revoke your US citizenship, that’s it.
Believe what you want, but you're clearly in the minority here.
The baby would most certainly be a U.S. citizen, but would it be a natural born citizen?
I think so.

No, that sentence refers only to people born “beyond sea, or out of the limits”, and it does not say that both parents have to be citizens for a child to be a “natural born” citizen. The subject of the sentence is “children”, plural, which would necessarily have parents who were US “citizens”, plural, even if each had only one parent who was a citizen.
I think not.

“It is corroborative evidence on its face, as I said, of Barack Obama being born in Hawaii.”
It would be if the Obamas had ever lived at 6085 Kalnianaole Hwy, but as has rather easily been proven, they never did.
This implies that someone conspired to put fake microfilm of newspapers into Hawaii libraries. I wonder what else they are working on?
The baby would most certainly be a U.S. citizen, but would it be a natural born citizen?
No, the baby would not be a natural born citizen, as defined in many documents from our country's early history.
Crikey, man. It's not my job to provide you with the textbook. There is a mountain of reference data to support all this on this very site. Why are you refusing to look it up and educate yourself?
Here’s a page that lays out the fundamental understandings and historical references to the phrase, “natural born citizen”. It’s one of the best I’ve seen:

The only problem with this birth announcement is that the Obamas never lived at that address. mmmmmm.....
Wrong.
Explain yourself.
I hate to say it but there are like 50,000 threads on this site that go into this in minute detail. Heck. Just read this thread. Educate yourself, then make statements that have real knowledge underneath of them.
You may wish it were otherwise, you can advocate changing the law, but you cannot credibly deny it.
That appears to be an excellent and well—sourced site, thanks.
Hmmm, now why would there be anything in that block? Good catch.
